I stumbled onto Sleep due to the Dali cover art and sans-Ozzy thanks to Sabbath members on the back, then pre-ordered Sleep’s Holy Mountain from England after they signed to Earache (level up!), and saw them a couple times. Second time, opening for Hawkwind, they only played three songs, but one was an early version of Dopesmoker. That room was thick in smoke. My biggest “fanboy” band, along with Boredoms. Sleep’s Holy Mountain is their best record by far.
Hey Dereck, That visualization of MOOM was fantastic (far out). I watch youtube on my television, so I cannot wait to watch it again tonight when it is dark and the lights are turned off. I see where that heat down in Mexico is moving north, and will cover the south and into the plains. That got me thinking of those poor people in the Houston area who are still without power from those violent storms of last week. Take care Dereck
