- We want to share with everyone how we see the world in 8K.
Peru 8K HDR explores the people and landscapes of Peru. This footage was captured in natively in 8K UHD (4320p) and 60fps resolution with the brand new Red Helium 8K Super35mm sensor. Using the most up to date technology we created this video to deliver the most realistic and cinematic experience possible today, especially when viewed in HDR!
To view at 8K 60P you'll need to use Chrome at the moment.
Shot over 2 weeks traveling all over our the beautiful country of Peru: from Lima, to the amazon in Iquitos, Cusco, Ollantaytmbo and of course the stunning Machu Picchu, Puno where we visited Lake Titicaca and then traveling further into the lake to the inner island of Taquile.

Peru is my Favourite country and at top of my bucket list
I always find it facinating how much the terrace farming venacular artitecture colourful clothes and red cheecks of people of peru like our hill people is similar to our himalayan culture of Nepal and Tibet even being thousand km far and not being contact throughout whole history
But Peru seems even more better with higher rainfall and sea acess making relatively more prosperous

There is none that makes sense. I need OLED blacks, and high refresh rate at minimum of 120hz. Show me a monitor that can do that, and don't cost 5000$. Resolution alone is nothing without color and refresh.
@@stoperz7531 The image look better even on a lower resolution screen because the pixel are binned which means a significantly more accurate color and image than if taken on a 1080p sensor.

Am I the only one who believes that even if you don't have an 8k device you feel that the quality of your device looks better?
It actualy is, the clairety will be a little bit sharper.
It's youtube's transcoding algorithm, it noticeably lowers video quality when playing at anything but the native resolution the video was uploaded at. Another youtube quirk is that a video uploaded at 4k and played at 1080p looks better than the same video natively uploaded at 1080p, at least this is how it used to be.

due to youtube's compression you are indeed seeing a crisper image when viewing in 8k on a smaller resolution such as 1080p.

@@sujalpatel5123 I already am using chrome. There is no 8k 60 option for this video anymore but I remember it definitely did in the past. Other RUclips 8K videos have 8k setting available. Even using Firefox still shows there's no 8k option for this video only as well.

@@is9273 RUclips unfortunately switched to a new codec called AV1 which no GPU can decode so in order to view this video in 8K you need to disable hardware acceleration and let the CPU decode it in software
