Hi Mike, this video is the best small stream fishing video I’ve ever seen. Thanks for a great job!

Thanks Cody that means a lot to me!
Awesome video
great video-nice job-thanks........beautiful brookies
Great video. My favorite kind of fishing, tight streams for little brookies. Can you go through your pick of flies that you use when exploring new little brooks and streams and why or how you pick what you do? Keep up the good work.
Beautiful work and location, Iron Mike!
Great Video.. Awesome Self filming and that Winter Back Drop.
Great fishing Iron Mike.

Hi there Mike,
Great scenery and good day to be out, thanks for sharing and thumbs up from Kiwiland.
Wow Beautiful video the backdrop is awesome! Great pointers for native Brookie fishing. Your camo jacket blended in great. Keep on keeping on and Best of luck always and thanks for sharing your videos.
Nice work. Really enjoyed this one. Reminded me of small streams in the Smoky Mountains.
Great video you using a indicator? What do you have it set at? And what county you fishing having fun
Thanks for the Fun video Iron Mike! Couple questions: 1. Were you just fishing that single pink hare’s ear and if so what makes the single vs double fly decision for you? 2. You mentioned your fly line, but do you use a floating line with this nymphing technique and what weight? Why this line vs euro nymphing line? Thanks!!
Hey Chris,
Thanks for watching. As far as single vs double nymph rig I'm typically fishing a single when Brookie searching. Reason being is less tangles, more precise casting, and a single fly with weight sinks like a champ, and lastly if they don't take the pink hares there are not any hungry brookies! I've fished tandem rigs and brookies slam the pink 8/10 times. As far as the line the new arc casts great, slides through the guides like butter and is a killer color. It's the Arc 99+ float line wf-4. 99 cast out of 100 while brookie fishing my fly line doesn't touch the water for more than a second. I cast, lift the rod to have a "tight" leader, and guide my nymphs down the run. I hope this helps. Again thanks, Mike
Really liked your video and tips. Not a fly fishing guy though fished Natives in even smaller streams usually fish down the stream crawling up on the holes, and hear the 10 foot spinning rods are equally better than the ultralights. Think some of your casting could apply as well. Thanks
Great job with the self filming. You guys should add Shrive’s pink hares ear to the lineup, it looks like a killer fly for brookies
Awesome video and scenery
What brand pants
Chris Dolla they are the Dryft wading pants. Best investment I've made for small to mid size streams.
what rod and reel do you use
..?thanks
Hey Bob, I will have to ask Mike which reel he had in that video, but the rod is a 10' 2wt.
