Holding on to every item that I find has saved me more times than not. It's not vital to have as much stamina as possible, if you predict and position well, you shouldn't need that much stsmina, it's just risk versus reward. 🤷🏻🤷🏻
So glad I went back into your library! I had no idea that there's not just good, but sometimes essential loot at bus stations! Thank you again! Love your work!
Good vid. One thing that DayZ doesn't seem to mention about opening canned foods without a can opener i.e., cans can be placed on concrete slabs or sidewalks with the can top pressed against the concrete. Vigorous rubbing of the can back and forth will remove the lip of the can and make it easy to remove the lid.
There are many things that make no sense in DayZ, like a press vest with magazine pouches. You need a knife to cut up clothes for rags. What, I'm strong enough to lift and carry a barrel full of wood for miles, but I can't rip clothes apart with my bare hands?? You should be able to sharpen a stick, or anything for that matter, with specific types of rocks or boulders. A pitchfork can not be used to create rags. Bandages should be able to be used as rags to craft or repair improvised wrappings. You can "repair" ammunition, or nails, or bones by combining them with a worn or pristine near stack of the same item. Your footwear can go from pristine to ruined before a full in-game day is over. You can't cut up zombies for bones to make a knife or for guts to make a rope. I can go on. 🤣🤣

Desparately searching for my med pack in the night and then more zombies. Yes I died. 😅 I spent the last games trying to get to my old legendar stash. And being to eager to get there (another mistake to bury your stash so far away from spawn points) so far I did not reach it. When I think on it the stash is not that much. A cooking pot, sewing kit and sharpening tool and some cans. 😂 Still for me its the legendary stash I need to get to.

Best tip for looting is if you are near military base pr other high value loot area, go there at odd hours when player counts are low, if you go to airport at sunday evening, you only have yourself to blame
This is very vital for any type of server incluiding role-play servers where there is no kill on sight. You will likely only be concerned about the few handful European players in the server rather than a crap ton of american players if you play around midnight your time
Nicely done; my only caviat is w regards to modded/community servers with infinite run/stamina. This is a very common mod in my experience and invalidates any tips with regards to weight and such; as you can literally have a 200 slot backpack filled with guns and ammo and sprint at infinum
If you go looking for food you'll starve to death. Fish instead. And craft rabbit snares (great for bones - which you use to make fishing hooks out of). Think of canned food as a luxury. Or plant a garden somewhere in the woods when its raining (so that it waters itself), log out, come back in an hour. Fresh veggies for you.
And add Information about The protective cases and first aid pouches is that the items that you put in to them don’t count as inventory space only the protective case or first aid pouch it’s self
2:26 fro tho sometimes when im hella loaded up ill find like a can of food or some shit and ill deadass drop like a pristine denim jacket or like damaged cargo pants and shit lmfao

I put anything that explodes in those protective cases. If that article of clothing becomes ruined.. I may still live. (Grenades go live when ruined, cloths that become ruined pass damage down to the items that article contains)
Do you actually run “slower” as you’re carrying more weight? sometimes as a freshy it seems i run really fast. Just to verify. i do understand you have less stamina the more you carry.
I am one of those people who gets themselves weighed down with too much stuff. Mosty my problem is getting an abundance of guns. While I do totally understand what you mean, I'll just say to others, be careful with that. Intentionally ditching loot in hopes to "loot cycle" one particular spot over and over is bannable on many community servers.
Meanwhile I’m sitting here with 2 sub machine guns 2 snipers, over 600 rounds of different caliber ammo, endless meds (literally). And stacked plate carrier with bases lol I probably weigh a billion pounds but thankfully it’s a 1x vanilla server so 2x stam makes it all irrelevant 😂
Weight, from one newbie to another: The more weight you carry, the more impacted your endurance. That also affects how long you can hold your breath which is how you can steady a long range sniper shot. A plate carrier is HEAVY. I generally stick with a Press Vest at this point. Again, I want to be able to move and line up my long range shots. Consider putting non emergency / non essentials in your pack and dropping it during a fight. You hide things like your extra ammo, cleaning kits, food if you loose the fight and increase your practical endurance for the fight. Just remember where you hide it. Don't travel with stuff in your hands. Not only does something like a backpack block your view forward, but it more heavily impacts your endurance. Your call if you are carrying something like a jerry can or building / base supplies. Crixus.
You've got to meet people in-game and use your Mic. Its easiest in the spawn town zones start with "friendly friend, whats up?" to the next random you see.
