This is really helping me with my first year philosophy class. Learning online is already hard enough. I still have to learn the expectations for college as well.

RUclips mp3, its a free and legal software with which you can download RUclips audio. You can download whole videos with RUclips mp4 but if internet connection is an issue that may take more time.

Each person is specialized in one function? Are all kings philosophers, and all philosophers kings? Is that two functions...or one? I would like to argue..one. How does a person interfere with themselves? By lying to themselves. The pretense and lack of self knowledge creates conflicts that is hard to get around when someone needs to effectively act or to decide something. They cannot know or perform their role. BY a lack of knowledge by desiring contradictory things. I want to eat and eat and eat and lose weight. This is the lack of knowledge of causes. By losing the capacity to stop eating even when you know the outcome. But the rational part can know the causes, and the spirited part can say"enough". thymos as "incandescent". From aggression to energy to light...more heat than light...more resistance of the medium, more heat...more light than heat, less resistance of the medium...light?
