India thankfully is not an economic subordinate partner in that region. India can take time to respond and not react to volatile pressures. Yes India is first addressing the security challenges. Bangladesh has to overcome her challenges and stabilise her domestic and external relationships. In the heat of the moment she is taking certain extremist decisions politically and " culturally". India will focus on the reality of the situation and protect her own borders first pending potential improvement. The onus lies on Bangladesh to decide her own sovereign regional relationships and balances. China's and Pakistan's interest in the turmoil won't make much of a difference in the regional volatility nor cause a threat to India's economic interests which India cannot resolve.

As citizens of Bangladesh, we have observed China and India's overt support for the Hasina administration, despite numerous allegations of extra-judicial killing, human rights abuses, enforced disappearances, electoral manipulation, genocide, killing of hundreds of innocent students, and general.
We invite all our international partners to foster relationships with the people of Bangladesh founded on mutual respect and shared interests. The younger generation in Bangladesh demonstrates a strong commitment to democracy and accountability and maintains a critical stance toward undemocratic practices. We encourage all partners to understand our perspectives and engage with us in a meaningful and constructive manner.

Indian diplomacy has not produced any good results in dealing with the neighbors. Dealing with EU countries & Sub-continent is not same. Same narrative is not going to change mindset of neighbouring countries. Lack of political knowledge & change of people’s aspirations of neighbouring countries led to failure of Indian diplomacy. A political leader from BJP who has good background in international affairs could have done better.

Dear EAM, Please think differently now. India has invested entirely in Hasina not in the interest of people BD.So much support for a regime whose sole interest only was stinging to the power. Why you love democracy in your country and autocratic rule in my country? Now she is removed, please stay away from that crook. Fix up south block and rebuild your friendship..everything will be fine again

If stopping genocide In Eastern Pakistan Is Indias aiding then there is no harm . India has a moral high ground as the Thriving Secular Democracy puts people first over childish irrational religious superiority like failed natios around India 🇮🇳. Indias pride is its secular multi lingual religuous and cultural fabric and how She continues to navigate inspite of hate mongers white Washing things

You must be a big convincing liar to became a diplomat. most of the citizens of
Jaishanker's neighboring country are not going to buy his statement. I would request
Indian's to search their souls for an answer of a question " Why no neighboring countries citizen's like you guys? "
and don't want to be your friend? WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

India either does a poor PR. Either don't know how to do it or they don't know it exists. If most neighbouring countries believe it to be the bully, they either behave in certain ways or they do not have good PR machines.
