Just thought I'd say Carli that I started watching your videos maybe four months ago? Since then I have - learnt how to contour- changed mascara to telescopic - bought my liquid lipsticks from Gerard cosmetics - bought my maybelline concealer (your fave drugstore)- make up brushes - you should reveiw the real technique brushes!- learnt how to apply eyeshadow- use a primer although I really want the dr.brandt 😩- I use hair oil- bought a curling wand- I have Mac products coming out my ears (mainly cause I work at an airport and I get duty free)- I use Mac studio sculpt foundation- I now use a beauty blender (damp) 😁- I've died my hair brown- I have Laura mercier concealer - learnt how to use a highlighter- waiting to be able to afford the shipping amount to England for the Carli palette 😩 So please all the way from England know that we are loving what we watch! Thank you for doing this tutorial. I have tried liquid foundation and I got back to my mineral powder foundation time and time again! I have found that for me Bareminerals gives me a glowy appearance. I find that the application process is much more forgiving and practical for my 40 year old skin.

You explained so well with lots of great tips for what I need. In my early life time leaving the house with no make up is like being naked, so wrong. Now in my late 40s putting on make up is no longer a priority so the most I've been doing on work days is putting on the powder after moisturizer, fix eyebrows, and put on lipstick. I like the baremineral on me as I feel it's giving me a good coverage.
For some reason powder foundations never worked our for me i'm super oily actually but it makes my skin look really dry and it also makes me skin itch which is really strange. But great video ❤️
+Teresa Grimmer Girl I'm right with you, but I swear by the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation. It is such a fine powder it doesn't itch me like other powder foundations. I'm super super oily, usually within an hour I'm already shiny around my nose and forehead but this foundation makes your oil look like a glow lol as gross as it sounds it just makes your skin look so healthy. I get compliments all the time :)
I'm not a fan of powder foundation. I think one reason is because I'm so used to liquid foundation and two I look drier or more powdery. I'm going to try though again spray with georges aloe after. I'd like to go more natural ingredients.

Clara Schou it cosmetics bye bye under eye is the absolute best I've tried. it's a thicker consistency, use a small amount and work it into your skin with your ring finger until it melts into your skin. apply more if needed but I find I only need to use a drop about 1/2 the size of a tic tac for each eye. I'm fairly light-medium skin toned so I don't know if they have darker colors so I can only speak for myself on the color match
Clara Schou If they're that dark, you night need to color correct as well. But usually a nice thick highlighting concealer like LA girl pro left to dry for a good while before blending should do the trick. The longer you leave concealer to dry before blending, the better the coverage.

sweetmelofmdm People with olive-ish skin tend to have darker and sort of orange eyelids. Idk why, but my friend does and I've noticed a lot of other people that do too.

I am half Asian and it pretty well know we have oily skin, but a trick I have found is I use pure aloe for a primer (which also helps with acne and scars) and I apply one coat of Bare Minerals acne foundation, apply a make up setting spray and then follow with the 2nd coat of minerals. when I so happen to fall asleep with my make up on, the next morning, it is still as I set it the day before! This id a handy tip also if you're running late for something because you can touch up quickly and go!

if you get red skin don't use a circle motion to apply your powder, it'll just irritate that skin. pat it on with your brush.

Yes she does . In fact it is a bit shimmer and at the end of the video she doesn’t apply eyeshadow, just mascara.

I am half Asian and it pretty well know we have oily skin, but a trick I have found is I use pure aloe for a primer (which also helps with acne and scars) and I apply one coat of Bare Minerals acne foundation, apply a make up setting spray and then follow with the 2nd coat of minerals. when I so happen to fall asleep with my make up on, the next morning, it is still as I set it the day before! This id a handy tip also if you're running late for something because you can touch up quickly and go!
