I usually do crate sets of 100. Build a stock pile. Currently have 500 crates waiting until I have 1000 crates to to unleash on gear upgrades. Have all of my kings sets at rare
Try doing it in x10 you might get lucky me me and many others and best of luck bro!
That's probably why they still at rare....you're doing right by waiting until you have at least 100 to open any crates but don't open all 100 at once. EVER. Just hit 10 at a time, 15 at a time the most.
Monster, I would maybe hit them with 50k energy each time. I usually get better rewards after hitting with a multiplier.
