- Smartenviro Systems Private Limited employs the Covered Aerated Static Pile Composting technology to make a nutrient-rich soil amendment. This is a process whereby organic waste material is processed in four separate steps: 1) Mixing, 2) Active composting, 3) Stabilisation or Curing, 4) Screening finished product.
Fantastic setup. We're doing similar but on smaller scale in north east Thailand. Hope to expand more next year.
I would like to know that positive aeration need or not during stablization and curing sir.
Where is this facility in india?
What the blow duration ? 24 hours non stop? What your blow rate of air for How many ton of waste there?
I heard another farm does 45 seconds burst every hour during the "cooking" process.
You are injection air or pull air from it?
It's a blower.. It blows!

Compost in India is dirt cheap given the availability of cattle manure and vermicomposting. I buy mine at $0.15 a kg. You are taking a big entreprenuerial risk.
True, but manure is far from a complete compost. This also means the ingredients are cheap & unlimited, so it is potentially a good way to increase value if you can operate at the right scale/efficiency
