Filipinos know how to fix everything; that's why they're fixing the road even if it's in good condition.
😂😂😂
yep . especially in the time of elections..
😂😂😂 politics
In our place tho,,, The road is so bad 😞
😅😂.... facts
I'm so proud of the Filipino who was able to repair your phone! He said he was self-taught. Quite impressive! 💕
How do you know he was a self-taught person? He seems to have a degree and/or certificate. And being a self-taught can go with everything, but mainly he should have an achievement. Unless you know him personally.
@@KurushimiVrishraka He said in the video he did not have formal training.
Filipinos can fix anything! They are very smart and innovative! See you soon Philippines! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
nah nah... they can't fix their "voting preference", voting those who are popular not the qualified ones.
Here in California I have a over 4 years old LENOVO 2 in 1 laptop that I spilled coffee on the keyboard. Can't get it fixed for parts for it can't be found. . Took it to Manila when I visited and got it fixed.
😃
Awesome
Smart, very skillful, dependable, very friendly, and can communicate in English with better accent & with ease; That's Filipinos (Philippines)👍
it’s way cheaper the labor and parts in the PH , here in the US they will charge you a LOT 😂
I had my sister's 2006 Intel-based iMac repaired at a neighborhood shop as well here in Las Piñas. The technician said he used to work for a Power Mac. The hard drive was corrupted and had to be replaced. He also offered to upgrade the memory for free.
That was 10 years ago. I ended up giving the iMac to a niece who needed a computer for online class. Obsolete as hell, but it still works to this day.
Darth, what’s the address of the power Mac tech in Las Piña’s?
MacServeManila is the name of the shop
@@darthbiker2311 Thanks so much.
Do you also know of a shop that can repair a Garmin GPS screen?
The Greenhills Theater Mall was an actual cinema and Theater Hall. That is where I saw movies like Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Edwards Scissorhands. Back 2 the Future 1 and 3. in the big screen. They even have rock mineral collection on glass display at the old Greenhills Theater. Today the mall is cookie cutter up into small multiplex cinemas. The large open space where you could roam around is now retail spaces.
You know he's a good technician if other stalls technicians are asking for guidance and tips
Remember a repair on a Packard Bell laptop. Impossible , they said in Belgium. 1 week later in Nong Khai , Thailand: new original battery sent from BKK: 50 $. The boss offered 150€ for the screen because a 17” was unobtanium in Thailand those days.
Later also repair jobs on iphones en Oppo’s.
Always great to watch those techno nerds fiddling away, until all works fine again.
I always walked away, watched a movie or so. Was never betrayed. Bought the kids some drinks or snacks which they appreciated.
Will have a look at Greenhills in November. See ya all
Filipinos are very good technicians and inventors. This video is informative. ♥️🇵🇭
They certainly are and super friendly too. You're in good hands here :)
What have Filipinos invented besides the karaoke?

If you're using a non OEM screen, Kuya will need to reset the display from your old screen otherwise current IOS detects "Unknown Part" in your Parts and service history settings. This so call feature of Apple is to deter people of going to non accredited repairers which obviously part of their tactic to monopolise the after sales market.
My thoughts exactly. There's a tool they use to copy data from the old screen and other serialised parts to the new part to trick iOS into believing that the old component is still there. On newer models the IC from the old screen has to be salvaged and soldered onto the new display.
Also, be careful with choosing replacement display panels. Hugh Jeffreys made a video where he explains that cheaper displays for iPhone X and newer models operate at a higher voltage due to the need for a backlight (as they are LCD instead of the OLED Apple intended) and thus they run the risk of frying your phone's logic board.
3utools will do all the work@@blakegriplingph Hahahha
So even fake lcd will have true tone option?
I have an iPhone 12 Mini and a S22 that I brought from the US last year. Recently I bought a Realme 10 4G for a little over $200. Does everything I need, fast enough, large screen, earphone jack, dual sim and SD card slot. I'm sure it can be easily repaired here in the Philippines too.
Mergim, you have been making good and better contents of your vlogs lately. This time, I will not miss your blogs anymore. Keep it up and stay safe all the time.😊
Appreciate it! The daily Vlogs in Metro Manila are a different vibe :)
thought so too😊
There's was a huge expansion at Greenhills Shopping Center, that's why you got cofused at the beginning. Hot dang, they really did a fine job. They're even using a microscope to see the Apple components. 👍
52 USD for a whole new screen. damn that's a good deal.
Very good deal on that repair for $50. Way more expensive here in nyc
You can see that Mergim enjoys technical stuff. It is “ his thing”
Wow! Awesome Felipino technicians! Now i know where to go incase my apple gadgets will be in trouble! As always very informative content..thanks dude. God bless.
Mergim -- I surprised myself. Really enjoyed that. I liked the way this episode flowed.
I’m glad you have found an honest smart technician who could do that.
Nice quality and informative vlog Mergim! Pretty straightforward too! You have my sub!
Well you know the difference immediately between the older processors and the newer ones just by the feel and response of the system. The quality of the images as well are much crisper and the processor contributes to that.
because of your vlog, I'm convinced now to try to go there to fix my old Sony Xperia XA1 ultra coz it has lots of memories in it
They can fix it for sure. Because it's android
Just joined your patreon. Keep pumping out those entertaining vids 👍👍👍
Thank you buddy :)
The silent area you went in is the VIRRA MALL. They rebuild it. Now your inside the back of the Greenhills Shopping Mall at the side of Virra Mall.
I grew up in that area. It's the Mall where myself, my cousins hang out everyday.
Before it's called Greenhills Shopping Center and there is a fountain ⛲ in the middle and small amusement park in the middle of the center. It's an open area. Now they close it with roof top
There's no much building. The Shopping Center is in the middle and the parking is around the Center.
It is the 1st shopping center in San Juan. No SM, no BGC yet and all.
Thank you for going there and now I'm seeing the NEW Building Shopping Center of GREENHILLS. 😊
Apple should build their factory in the Philippines. They have excellent technicians there.
good video....a majority of the problems with apple devices is now the firmware related .. be wary when buying computers ect ... if the screen breaks the devices are digitally signed to that model and even attempted replacing the model's part with the same model replacement screen can also result in non-compatible issues now.. which will make these little stalls have many issues obtaining parts even genuine ones. Apple and samsung are notorious for making it exspensive or difficult to carry basic repairs
Wow very impressive!I'm proud of my kababayan technicians. They are smart.Good job.
I hope Apple leaves them alone. Lol. Thanks for sharing. Filipino engineers have a reputation of fixing anything.
They are not engineer , just cellphone technician
Hmm. If that's true, then they could also build anything without foreign educated dudes showing, explaining everything step by step on how to do a specific job properly, which is not the case.
@@maryfe8221, ur right. That's why sometimes i feel like freedom of opinion in PI should just be left to phd dudes to minimize kr@pp.

Thank you Merlin for vlogging the repair of your iPhone as I now know where to go to have my iPhone repaired. Awesome info! 🥰😘
Sorry, not Merlin, should be MERGIM.
Hey man! Came across your video yesterday, and the timing is incredible. I just landed in Manila two days ago, and I’m just starting my vlogging channel. If you’re really wanting to help “teach” a bit about vlogging, I would love to meet up with you while I’m still in Manila and have you critique my vlogs and give me some tips. I have so many questions. Thank you for the video yesterday, it cleared up so much for me. ❤
You've got 12 videos on your channel, i think you need to simply make more :)
@@MergimVlogsYT well, obviously lol. I’ve yet to meet anyone making a living off vlogging who is willing to answer any questions I have about their process for planning videos, income potential, and other niche specific questions.
In the Philippines...
THEY FIX EVERYTHING !!..
Even a Broken 💔😊😂👍
Wow 200k+ views. Congrats Mergim!
Very informative sir.. Now we know where bring our ip to fix. God bless you sir.
Filipinos are great at fixing stuff.
I have an IPhone XS Max and had the same problem with the screen, I live in Pattaya and the Apple I studio shop in Central Festival changed the screen while I waited, took about 30 mins and cost me around 5,000baht. This was 3 years ago and I’am still using it with no problems 😊. I’am surprised they let you sit next to the guy in the shop, Apple in Thailand I’am not sure they would let you do that!
Yes I know, same here in Thailand, there’s Tukcom Shopping Mall in Pattaya that has the same set up!
...pirated softwares...astronomical.😅
Well, it's free advertisement for the shop especially if they successfully restore the phone. It will send a positive review to the viewers who would want a legit repair shop.
Pinoy really good technicians!
Bcoz they are foreign tolerant
Very informative! Nice.
Filipinos are a proud people. Rich history and culture. If you see it here in America, our work ethic and contribution to this country speaks for itself.

Congratulations for a job well done, inform us if the repair is durable and has no back issues. Thanks Mergim, take care 💅
Very interesting! what a talent
It's good that you still recall and found the place. Now your iPhone is fixed and back in action while just costing you a low amount for its repair. Way to go! Hehehehe
For repairs in Greenhills you usually to to the stalls in Shoppesville.
Because the Philippines is non-disposable society. They make the best of what they have and fix it for longevity. Unlike other countries that dispose everything and ending up either in landfill or green house gas.
You can feature some stalls in Greenshills that offer affordable phones and other gadgets
For what?...free advertisement, maybe if the price is right 😂
I'm now a member of your Patreon. Keep those videos comin' 😊
Awesome, thank you!
Wow what a flawless transaction, commendable work.
In greenhills they make the impossible, possible.

Stop the presses: I just discovered there is Cowrie Grill at Greenhills - and they do prepare the Caesar salad tableside.
Second reason to go there !
Hey, Mergim. What camera and mic you used in the vlog? Thanks.
NEW Pinoy Subscriber here! ❤
Mergim. There’s another vlogger that went to the same repair shop and sat in the same seat to watch her iPhone get repaired. (Her RUclips title is the same as yours.) She mentioned she watched another vlogger about that place, but she didn’t mention your name. I wished she gave you recognition. I guess 'Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery'?
Can they also replace batteries in Iphones? I need to replace mine. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
so nice vlog.. keep it up sir
In the Philippines, the messier the workstation the more better the technician, dont go to clean workstations sometimes they dont kniw what they're doing but always be there while your gadget is being repair "Kahoy Gang" is always on standby
Just a friendly reminder that not all phone repair shop sometimes they harvest your phone part and exchange it with a counterfeit parts, it will work for few day but it will eventually break because its not legit parts.
Its actually expensive. TFT (low resolution) for XS, normally 900-1500. OLED around 2k pesos.
Try Greenhills shopping mall. So much repair shop for mobile phone.
That why, i believe in the filipinos...they know even the makina ng jeep bagsak na pero nagagawa pa, mismo jeep gamit ng suldalo and jeep for riding public...cp etc, i believe for so many option for filipinos, look the buggy vichicle to the moon etc etc...
Definitely will be fixed. I don’t even need to finish this blog. Lol!
I don’t go to Apple when I need my laptop, Ipad, or phone fixed. They want us to change the phone right away. I just go to Greenhills.😂

Greenhills is amazing. Im always SOOOO impressed but hot they can fix damaged equipment that would be thrown out in the states. Ive brought broken iPads, iwatch and iPhones over and gotten them repairs and brought back lol.
