I love my fms k10, they’re fun lil crawlers that are bang for the buck for the scale realism. I lifted my k10 like you done your eazy rc glacier, and put different wheels and tires on it. So far it’s been a great rig, can’t wait to see what you do with this one.
Agree it looks much better without the stripe - I'm hoping you paint it too! Looks bad when the light shines through the bed. The headlight setting is on the little jumpers, I think - it's in the instructions. 👍
so a few things, the 'a/b' switch select 'a' and that allows you to trim throttle and steering, then select 'b' and press th trim + for 3 light settings also allows you to press rev/st angle for 3 steering max points 1 beep 50%, 2 beep 75% and 3 beep 100% steering angle. as well the ch5/climbing 1 beep and it uses a lower electric input for what feels and acts like a crawling gear, 2 beeps for 2nd or highspeed but uses up the battery faster. and one more flaw with lights is the blinkers are on for all 3 settings and no hazard setting.
The body on this is a Late 83/84 Toyota Hilux single cab long bed 4x4. Most markets aside from the US got trucks with the rolled bedside edge and hooks, with some markets still able to get even the 2022 hilux trucks with the rolled edge and hooks.
I wanted to give a little more info on the Hobby Burger bedliner you can buy a ladder rack that fits in slots on the liner . All his items are 3d printed and fit great .I have all the Eazy RC items and fms k10 with the toyota hilux and installed all hobby burger items they sell. I got them off ebay. Absolutely love your channel and watch all vids.
If you want a black bedliner , topper or a camper shell in 1/18 scale just for your toyota or the glacier try hobby burger I think you will like the way they look I like mine
I really like the looks of the Toyota over all the others. Maybe because it seems to have more stock stance than the others. At the same time I’d like to see it lifted with the bed a little shorter and have a roll bar in the bed. 🤔
I liked this video. But I am with you and am all about 1/10 scale and Toyotas. I would rather save the money and put it into something frome RC4WD. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Did yours not come with the 'steps' attached or in the box? Everything I have seen showed them installed, which it appears much better without them. The color is a shame - to the point I wonder if part of the licensing play is 'we will make it realistic, but only in the worst color'. I think the main difference between FMS and EAZYRC are the FMS has metal gears and better electronics (although nominally). I thought that Toyota model had an electronic 'low' gear, but I may be confusing it with the FMS Beetle.
I like the looks of this truck but I'm not a fan of the 1/18 scale. Also you're right about the garage scale being too big for this scale of truck. It looks really small. And looks like you would have to be pretty selective of which trails to attempt with these smaller trucks? I have a limited amount of room & all my kits so far are 1/10 scale. They are pretty capable of handling obstructions - rocks, etc. I'm not sure that my hands would even fit into those small spaces to do any customizing.
It is more challenging to paint and work on these things. I cant bring myself to build them a scale correct garage either since I just built this new 1/10. But I can see these being a good way to get kids into the scale RC hobby, more affordable, and still pretty good detail. I recently drove my 1/18 rc4wd through my 1/10 crawler course and man it was a different world.
@@RCeveryday I can imagine it being a "fun" effort to try this on your 1/10 scale course. You're right about this being a good starting point for kids. An RTR truck like this one is something I'm thinking of for the grandkids. Trying to assemble a kit would soon be tossed aside. That would be for teenagers I think.
What is that whining noise? The Toyota sticker on the tailgate is wonky. Steel wheels or satin black wheels would make it more like a workhorse. The brakes would look best if they came on whenever the throttle is released.
That crooked TOYOTA sticker on the back is kickin my OCD into overdrive hhahaha

Brilliant little truck I’ve just ordered one off Amazon £124 And £11 for shipping I ordered about a week ago the Chevrolet K10 cannot wait

Give it a black bedliner coat and you'll solve the light through the box issue. I like the longbed, you don't see it done as often as shortbeds.

That’s a cool looking little rig. The garage is looking great!😎👍
Pretty sure that you turn on the headlights through the controller. I like 1/10th but the price and detail of these are winning me over.
Nice Rig. you should paint the bed liner black so the light don't go thru it. I like the wheels.

Nice, I just checked it out. That is some cool stuff!
Cool RC

Looks cool. But that body style didn't come out until 84.
They come with metal differential gears. (Glacier doesn't) The headlights have multiple settings. Low and high beam and off.
The weight from the metal chassis should a huge differens and the tires looks grippy . Greetings, Mickeys rc crawl

*Thank you for sharing a good video with a nice car!~~~^_^*
A extra cab would've been nice.

It had the steps in the box. Just didn’t want them on there.
this is cool
Love your garage! Have you ever tried WPL? Recently I've returned to the RC hobby. For the price and upgrade options, they rock!

I wonder how close the width of the body is to a wpl
Its pretty close but the wheelbase is longer on these. If I can find my WPL I will post a pic on instagram
they messed up on the year that body style came out in 84 in the USA sweet truck though
Yes, the 1984 Toyota pickup had this body. But this is a late 1983 Toyota Hilux. Some markets got this body style earlier.
@@KearSki yeah I figured that's why I said USA...

Bedliner?
It's a nice truck but that constant whining would really tick me off I like the ones have a quiet
Keep it long wheelbase something different

As thin as that plastic is in the bed, I think it needs a bedliner.
wowww,very nice, how to buy,,
Link to buy in the video description
Looks a little stiff like it could use more weight to get it to move more scale-like
Pizza planet conversion pleeeeeease
Damn! That hadn’t even crossed my mind 🤣 I’ll have to see if someone can 3D print the rocket the right size😂
That whine is what keeps me away from these rigs...
