You need a separate chapter on best practices for db user administration, when create and use read only user etc or user for use by scripts only
Thank you for watching my video on MySQL user administration and for your thoughtful comment. I'm delighted to see your interest in best practices for database user management, including the creation of read-only users and users for script usage.
Your suggestion is a fantastic idea, and I wholeheartedly agree that these topics deserve a dedicated chapter. It's crucial to understand the finer details of user privileges and the secure management of database access. Rest assured, I will be creating a separate chapter to address these best practices, catering to the needs of both beginners and experienced developers.
In the meantime, keep an eye on my channel for more in-depth content on database administration and other related topics. Your input is invaluable, and it motivates me to keep delivering high-quality, informative content.
Thank you for being a part of our learning community, and stay tuned for more insights and tutorials!

The root user or any user can do everything if it has the correct grant privileges.
Could someone tell me how to connect with this terminal to another hosting
Could you explain it a bit further. Do you mean how to connect to a remote mysql server with a terminal?
I mean i have a game hosting, it's called samp and it works with mysql and it's has it's own base and everything
I followed this and it appears that I was able to add a user and set permissions (not sure how to view permissions) but when I try to log into the workbench with the new user account I get Access Denied for user 'username'@'servername' (using password: YES). Can you help?
