- A major change in gun regulation takes effect in the United States on Monday (May 20). After decades of political wrangling, the so-called ‘gun show loophole’, which has allowed firearms to be sold at gun shows and online without a background check, is set to close. The new rule is part of a bipartisan law passed in the wake of a 2022 school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, which left 19 children and two adults dead. Ah...So people are claiming private sales is the "gunshow loophole"....By that logic, selling computers and cars without a background check through private sale is a "loophole".

Even if the US stops selling guns all together, people will find a way to get their hands on guns to commit criminal acts. There will always be someone that can makes guns or get them from another country through the black market. If you want a gun, you will find some way to get it.

This video is miss information… Per the director of the ATF Steve Diddlebock, there is no such thing as a gun show loophole. This was in his sworn testimony to Congress this past week.
