As a toxicologist, you can definitely have a nice experience while you are using something, but that doesn't mean it is not going to harm you in the long run, which is Dr Dray's point. Dermatologists, chemists, and overall scientists won't recommend something that hasn't been properly studied because of the possible risk you can get. I am glad you had a great experience. I just hope that one day, when we get the FULL background of it, we don't have to regret using this viral product. Also, I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to brand representatives, but just be mindful of the huge bias they typically carry (understandably so).
That’s a good point. I’d say if you know one paticular ingredients was said by some doctors/scientists to had possible risks from using it, but was also claimed to give a good aesthetic outcome, then it will be your personal choice whether you prefer to be more careful about the health risk, or you just gonna let the unknown risk linger on and experience the product for some aesthetic outcome.. it’s totally depends on personal preference❤
I started using the 100 2 weeks ago, and I find that when I wake up in the morning, my skin looks so much nicer. After washing my face, I use this first, then my standard nighttime routine. It's definitely interesting, and I'll see how it continues to work for me and level up as long as my skin allows it.
In Russia we used to put gel badyaga which is literally the same thing but much stronger for decades. I used it like a mask. It helps a bit with scars and hyperpigmentation. In fact it works just like peeling.
I feel that with any skincare product and procedure, complications can happen to an individual that is sensitive or allergic to it. So just like anything else, use at your own risk. This product actually seems less risk than alot of other things people do to their skin. I have been using the reedle 100 for at least a month now and never had any problems, even when used along with actives and definitely sees visible improvement with my texture. I just came back from Korea and was pleasantly surprised they now have a new version of PDRN Reedle (basically 2 products now combined in one). Korean skincare is just so innovative and doesn't matter what anyone says, people who are already a korean skincare fan, and sees how incredible it is, will likely give this a try. There is a reason why this product is so popular, it's hard to stop using it once you see the visible improvements.
In my case, I received many compliments after 2 months of use. I only use numbers 50 and 100, twice a week. My skin cannot tolerate exfoliants, but VT 50-100 is no problem. The pores are definitely smaller because I used to have acne and have large pores. I will use 50-100 and combine it with HA/PDRN serums instead of trying shot 300-700. I wipe my face with a "SKIN CLEANSING DRY COTTON WIPES" instead of a regular towel after days of using VT Reedle. Before, I tried so many products that not impove my skin at all and Reedle shot really "game changer" for my skin. Thank you for your video!
Be aware all the reviews you are talking about, except the dr dray one, are PAID. VT launched this product via influencers, paying them. This make the product bad? no. If you see unpaid ( unsponsored) reviews, Kelly Driscoll, Alice in the rabbit hole , bs beauty, none of them like it, calling it a " difficult" product, gimmicky, and so on. Nowadays is very important to know if a review is sponsored or not, if you don,t, you are just seeing and advertisement unaware
You have a very important point. And that is why I personally test the products out myself to see if it truly works. It's hard to base a product's worth based on talks without the actual video of application or the after effects. And there's no one product that works for everyone. All the well loved korean skincare products would have a bad review. I also believe to err in caution and to start slowly and patch testing.
Even if she is not sponsored by the product Maher she still makes money by being monetised on RUclips and talking sensationally about something. So I think whether or not a video is sponsored is not the full info required for discernment.
That’s a great point too. Sponsored or not content creators are monetized whether by views or by affiliate. So it shouldn’t all be a basis. And we have to decide by many factors. We’re just here to show our experience which may not be the same case for others😊
@@CharisseDaily My main concern with the VT Reedle Shot is the risk of inhaling the tiny spicules when they shed off the skin. Since these particles are sharp (and I I’m pretty sure don’t biodegrade), they could potentially cause lung damage, like silicosis which results from inhaling fine particles. While it's unlikely you'd inhale a significant amount from topical application, any risk makes me hesitant. I'd feel more comfortable knowing there's no possibility of inhalation, or I’d rather just use a retinoid or something else. If they made it fully biodegrade and safe I would feel more comfortable but for now I might wait. I really wish I could try it without feeling worried
Ive watched both the videos i got it bc i was intrigued I got it and surly not bbeing paid i like it’s skin feels smoother and i only use 100 twice a week now but I use to use it everyday but I felt like the needles stay on my face long enough to wait for them to fall off and I don't feel them anymore to use it again dr.drays video to me was basically “ bc idk it must be bad” 💀 but when it comes to skincare in the US/Canada we’re always behind like i can see in 2-4 years an American company making it and her not having a problem 💀(ive been using the numbizin 5 serum and reedle shot toghether but I have normal skin and its not sensitive so that could be why my skin reacted fine )

Hi, I’m considering using the VT Reedle Needle Shot and was wondering if it’s suitable for someone with sensitive, eczema-prone skin. I don’t have eczema on my face (just on other parts of my body), but I’m curious if this product might help by improving absorption of skincare products into my compromised skin barrier.
@@nehadenny1967 hmmm I think focus on serums to strengthen your skin barrier first the ones without actives. The VT has niacinamide as its main active. And always patch test first
First I just want to say thank you for your informative videos. I am in love with my Korean skincare products, that is pretty much all I use now. I have purchased several products from Stylevana. What are your thoughts on “Blooming Koko” for purchasing Korean skincare? I’ve bought once from them in the past and everything I ordered seemed perfect. Should I stay away from Blooming Koko? I just want to make sure that everything I buy is the real deal. 👍💗😊
Got rashes after using this product, please avoid it if you have sensitive skin!! Even my skin is considered normal, but I still got a breakout. I wonder if this is really safe for the skin in the long run. No research have been done at all.
I forgot and used light therapy after putting on VR shots 100 last night. I only remembered after I woke up that I was not supposed to do that 😭😭😭😭😭 It’s the hand held light therapy device. Anyone know anything about it? I know we aren’t supposed to use any high temperature devices with it.
@@CharisseDaily yeah it’s the red light. I haven’t noticed anything with my skin so far, thank God. Praying I don’t see any bad side effects because of it. Yes, definitely gotta remember not to do that again! Thank you :)
So better VT with retinol only? Not sal a, not vit c, not other niacin product, but retinol can not use every night, right? and i want to use vt reedle 100 every night, what do you think dear? What if i use VT 100 after ABIB pine needle pore pad, is it ok? Note : now i have few acnes not much and some brown spot
I ordered this back in February and only just got it today. Lol. I have a question about something you'd mentioned here. I recently heard not to use niacidimide together with Vitamin C? Was said that they cancel each other out? I've been using my Vit C in am but have always done niacidimide for both. I've actually run out of a bunch of things I normally use, niacidimide being 1 of them. But you were saying this reedle shot has it in it. I also follow someone who likes to use the reedle in am. Going to patch this tonight so trying to figure out what's best?
The best way to know if you can layer your vitamin c with your niacinamide is to patch test first. Also allow sometime in between before layering your products. And yes the main active ingredient in the Vt reedle shot is niacinamide so you don’t have to layer it with another niacinamide product. I prefer to use the vt reedle shot at night because I usually wear makeup or heavy sunscreen in the morning and I just want to be cautious that I don’t clog my pores, because the reedle ahot can make the product you put on top penetrate more. Hope it helps🥰
Late but I used it with HQ with no problems. First time using HQ so I can't speak on whether it made it penetrate better, but I did see huge improvements in hyperpigmentation overall.
Any other doctor speaking about this? Dray looks sick all the time and I don't watch her. She has direct invested interest in this thing due to her profession. It is difficult to judge from influencers too for the obvious reason they make $ on advertising this.
That is so true haha! She said there was no evidence that these were safe but isn’t that no evidence in English? I’m pretty sure there’s been a lot of Korean studies. It is as if she thinks that pub med is just global. There is a lot of research being done in Korea and Japan and other countries that just are not published in English.
My dermatologist does not recomend it. You don't need it with good skin care. And my dermatologist looks amazing. She don't use them, so they're completely Unnecessary.
You are aware, that her face is almost like her business card? It makes total sense for her to invest into her skin looking great, taking no risks and using expensive treatments frequently. Then proceed to tell you all you need is moisturizer to fade acne scars..
