I just traded my 09 Civic Si in towards a 12 TL SHAWD automatic. A left knee injury 7 years ago from weight lifting and martial arts has finally caught up to me and hurts too much to commute in a stick every day (I still have a RHD EG6 Si-R for the weekends).
I wish I had gotten a TL sooner. Its really great. I also was in the market for a TLX or RLX FWD but decided against thrm in favor of the TL.

Ed209 10 seconds to comply I too have a 2009 Civic Si sedan. It’s very clean, and treats me well. I’m thinking about getting a 3rd gen TL-S or 4th gen TL. A Lexus IS350 is also on my list, but I think G37 is too much of a gas guzzler. Once I get a new job, I think I’ll do the switch. But I wanted to ask you, what you like about the TL over the Civic Si?

My wifes 12 Advance TL is really great to drive and fun on the open road. I would suggest buffing yours out and a good ceramic coat like Gyeon Pure or Armor Shield IX. If you haven't done it already you'll be surprised at the difference. Ours is white but that black would look really good.
