In the beginning of February my best friend moved away back to his home and I would listen to this song because reminds me of him. On April 27th was prom I thought I was gonna be alone because all my friends had dates but then later on everyone was acting all weird saying go over in the corner and wait. I was so confused and i didn’t what was going on. Until I seen him walk through the door, he came all the way from his home (which is a few hours away) to surprise me and be my prom date, god I ran and hugged him and cried the tears of joy. Turns out my friends were planning to bring him over here to surprise me. Well it worked. During prom people kept telling me that they missed my smile because once he moved everything went bad and the moment I seen him my world uplifted. Then this song came on, I told him that it reminded me of him then we slow danced. It all felt like a dream. It’s definitely a night to remember. The next day he had to go back home sadly. We have calls every now and then but on May 6 we called for a few hours... he decided to ask me out and I said yes❤️
