A very detailed and informative vdo tutorial. It was a breeze installing a new battery in my Macbook. However I managed to do it without taking out the trackpad. Fantastic results. Thanx

Hey man, no clue if you will se this, but I have a question. Currently my haptic on touchpad is not working, I wanna know what's the possibility the problem could be w motherboard. I ll be already replacing keyboard and battery and I don't wanna spend too much money and too much time to end up with no haptic again. Do I just shoot my shot or is there any other way? Maybe it could be software problem? I know it's hard to help without seeing the problem but I ll appreciate any help you might offer. Thanks for the video, its very easy to understand and follow.

Is everything else working? Double check the cable. It's the battery is inflated, the pressure alone could prevent it from vibrating.

@@ItsBinhRepaired Yes the touchpad it self work fine jst no haptic. I already took it apart once, and battery looked in perfect shape even tho it has over 800 cycles on it. Most importantly, if I replace the touchpad it should work right?

@feravaculik8278 it should. Watch out for the washers.

    Hi Mate,
I have 2016 MacBook Pro A1706 with Touch Bar. I had my keyboard replaced in Turkey in 2020, and basically bought a new laptop as soon as I came back to London and never used it since. Now its has a dead battery (only works with direct power) and also for some reason a dead Touch Bar. Could these problems be related?
I have ordered a battery and will change using your video on the weekend.
What do you think could be wrong with the touch bar? I don’t remember seeing if it worked after the keyboard replacement. Could it be the guy forgot connecting it? or perhaps something else which is a more common issue I dont know of?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Very strange. I don't think it's related to the battery, but who knows. Apple likes to build in software dependencies. It's annoying and stupid.
