Kids run wild in Business Class - ORLANDO FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY ✈️ Manchester to Orlando July 2022

- We start our travel day at the Doubletree Hotel Manchester airport with two big concerns around the time it will take to check in and my zip is bust on the bag.
We take the paid shuttle over to the airport and re pleasantly surprised by the quick check in time at the @AerLingus Business Class check-in and security.
With our business seat ticket, we get access to the 1903 Lounge and give you our honest thoughts on the food and service.
We board our flight late and have an interesting experience with a Russian family on board the entire trip.
The food was out of this world, the best airline food we have ever eaten on any flight we have taken before. Kudos to the airline
A uber delivers us home where we unpack and crash after the long travel day.
Next morning, we walk you through the food haul we brought back to the USA to see us through the next few months.

I'm currently living in Florida. I flew from Orlando to Manchester return with Aer Lingus, no problems. My wife is a doctor, so I always get her to prescribe me a pill that zonks me out for the whole of the flight! All in the name of anxiety, so completely justified!

Way back when I first moved to Costa Rica, I'd do two day one night shopping trips to either MCO or Miami. Biz class got 3x 70lb suitcases and Costa Rican customs was fairly non-existent then. I made lots of "friends" in the expat community 😉

That was interesting to hear about how expensive bedding is in US. I always like the look of the bedding that some RUclipsrs have that zips up. They must get it gifted. I think our bedding here in supermarkets and Primark wash really well.

LOL Your haul looked similar to ours! We live in Canada and went back to Scotland this summer. My wife managed to pack in four sets of curtains, two duvet sets and a few cushion covers. There’s still ANOTHER couple of duvet sets my mother in law is bringing over later this year!
The need is real when you live abroad . We get two duvet sets every time we go over
Them seats look brilliant as someone who mainly travels in economy or next one up I was very impressed abd topic is still available in the here ( UK ) but you do need to look for it getting rare to find it

Topics were always in Sainsburys 3 pack but you got the best can’t beat a Starbar .Sainsburys also do a catering PG Tips bag containing 1100 one cup teabags.
I get food is important. Take my home comforts, PG Tips and Rice Crispies when I go to France. Yes you can buy them in France but either expensive or taste different.

Hello Mr n Mrs Bazza! I hv just found you and really enjoyed this vlog. I think we r all around the same age, I am 55 and from Leyland in Lancashire n always holidayed in Blackpool as a kid. I live in France now but it's so wonderful to hear the accent and your vlog is very interesting and entertaining...those Pecorino biscuits..he he. I also miss Topic bars. We went in May from Man To MCO with Aer Lingus too in economy. Great service on board. Airport security took 3 hours. We are coming back in sept and going to use a lounge at airport. If you have Revolut metal plan you get lounge access for £20 each. You can choose aspire or escape.
If you had a shoe lace you could have tried tying the 2 zips together

Gosh all your flight food looked so delicious, it certainly looked like a decent restaurant quality. However I can only imagine how annoying it was with all that racquet going on around you,especially when you've paid good money for your comfort,it seems a tad unfair!

Looked like a comfortable flight apart from the kids, and the flight meals looked great. How was your Pecorino cheese biscuits (as opposed to Precornia 🤣, Pecorino is a type of hard Italian cheese, like Parmesan). Did you have to declare all the food your brought over? Friends of ours want us to bring Mr Kiplings over for them and we heard you had to declare that kind of stuff when you arrive?
Nope no need to declare processed or tinned food

Liked the helpful video .I saw that Aer Lingus was cheaper but got turned off by a 9 hr 45 min flight compared to the 9 hrs on Virgin. How do you think the Aer Lingus compared to Virgin? I am from Orlando but live in Manchester now with my husband who is from Manchester. Can't wait to move back to Orlando. Btw not sure if you've been to the Christmas Tree store but they do have good tea there ,, if you ware wanting a proper cupper. I don't know if they have PG Tips but I did get Punjana Brand Tea there for around $1.00. They did have Yorkshire tea too . Not sure if they still do.

Just watched you flying to U.K. and back again aer Lingus it looked really good. We were lucky to manage business class on virgin, first time omg fantastic except the bed rock hard couldn’t sleep with nice bedding, 2nd time bad then covid so prices high. 2022 we did virgin economy premium and that was bad, food nice but not offered tea or coffee only had one drink the whole 8hr from Orlando to Heathrow only had one steward in our section wasn’t worth the money
Barry they do have a lift when you get to the section where you can put your cases on the track by escalator or take it with you the lift is just around the corner is a small lift as I have a wheelchair collection upon arrival to USA and we use the lift but again it is only a small one and if a few waiting it can take it’s time.
I have virgin points saving but may consider this airline. They fly from Southampton as we are Isle of Wight but it’s additional £400 on top of the Gatwick, Heathrow prices not cheap to fly locally thanks for sharing it with us.
We are saving Delta points to use with Virgin
So strange you couldn’t find Topic bars in England,you can get them in so many shops and supermarkets here in Scotland.🍫

Pek..ah..re..no....it's usually grated over pasta..I like it better than Parmesan..The holding pen for airplanes landing at MCO is off the coast of Daytona and they fly right over home when coming in.LOL...I am in East Orlando,near UCF..Didn't they have wine on the plane?Ciroc vodka is my favorite although it's French...just don't try the flavored ones,they are sweet and taste horrible.

Fray Bentos today are pretty poor compared to our youth, a lot less meat today. For us it was a special treat on our summer holidays so nostalgia has a lot to do with it. Only goodie I need is the new design Cages shirt. I might need an XXL , the XL I got before was a bit snug on me. I take XL USA size :-)

Parents wont be bothered. They dont care... let the kids ruin everyone else time. Its a common issue on planes, trains, busses , restaurants anywhere their are kids. The parents dont care. Then if you say anything they make you out to be the bad one.
All Kids should be banned from flying
I once flew an Indian airline where this little kid was running up and down the aisle for at least an hour.nobody said anything.i waited till the lights dimmed and stuck my foot out.He went flying down the aisle sprawled on the floor.Needless to say I didn't see him again
I think it's the parents not the kids fault. Plenty of kids are well behaved .
Don’t be silly, it’s definitely the parents. I took my first transatlantic flight to Florida in 1988 at age 7, my brother was five, we made the same trip every year and even though we were so excited to get to Orlando, we never behaved badly. My brother has a 6year old daughter of his own now who is even more well travelled on long haul flights, she never misbehaves on flights either. We only ever flew economy, maybe putting kids in business class isn’t the best idea, they don’t need all that extra space.
