You probably already got an answer but I'm still gonna answer you too. 4 years ago, when you commented this, he was without a club. Rowell left Waasland-Beveren in 2015. He was without a club until the summer if 2016, after that he was signed up by Dutch second division side FC Eindhoven. He played there until August 2017. After that, he was without a club until January 2018, when he signed for Belgian 3rd division side Berchem Sport, he played there for 6 months and was relegated with them. In the summer of 2018, he was signed up by Belgian 3rd division side FCV Dender EH.
@@jeroenjanssen3941 brilliant thanks for the in depth update. My friend and I couldnt believe our club Hartlepool released him, huge mistake as even at 18 he could play league two and league one football. Hopefully see him play on a groundhog of Belgium when this social distancing malarkey doesnt impact doing enjoyable things like going to football games. Hope you're well during these mundane times!
@@philipmclaughlin7498 I was searching for an interview to hear if he spoke dutch after living in Belgium for that long, only found 1 recent interview. I think he can talk dutch but it wouldn't be that great. In an interview with FCV Dender EH the questions where asked in dutch and he andwered in English. That was a year ago though.
Where is Johnny Rowell now?
