To each their own, obviously, but I tried for 10+ years on my own to quit drinking. I tried pretty much everything, and it turns out that AA was the only thing that actually worked. I did not have the willpower or wherewithal to stay sober on my own. I couldnt do it alone, and I know hundreds of others who were in the same boat. Do your own exploring, find what works for you, and whatever that is, stick with it. Sobriety is an incredible gift, regardless of how you receive it. I just think it's doing alcoholics a disservice to allude to AA as an outdated program. I also think it's dangerous to humble brag about how long you've been sober. That's a great way to become complacent. As they say, the world record for sobriety is 24 hours.

Lion im not normal. Liters of of alcohol 😂. My life has always always been alcohol driven. So much so I can't imagine life without it. Fun fact I was a great athlete my whole life played sports from gramer school gymnastics baseball basketball football track .hard struggles. Disabled vet was paralyzed for a while. As a 7th grader I bench 220lb senior 17 385lb .at 45 years old 450lb 2 reps then after a few medical issues gallbladder. Shoulder issues. I stopped working out. Next thing I know I'm 55 doc says nothing wrong lay of pasta and sugar. I should be dead . I'm drinking now .your videos and I followed a few make sense. I'm at a crossroads. I'm super
functioning. Only drink 4:30pm to about 11:00 .pm no other time. Just wanted to say your amazing and you helped ♥ ❤ so many and I proud of you and everything you have done.

Maybe push 4:30 to 5:00pm and keep pushing the time later and perhaps go to bed earlier cos that's a long time to drink for and it's not good for your liver nor your other organs. This is just a mere suggestion.❤
