Guys stop comparing them, it's a duet, not a competition xD. One is not better than the other, they just have different styles and voices. EXO doesn't need 2 Kyungsoos or 2 Jongdaes, they need 1 of both ;) This was a great rendition of one of my favorite songs. So glad I gave EXO a chance, despite having grown up with trashy western pop music. Asia has so much talent, it's incredible. Sincerely, proud male EXO-L :)

I love this so much... D.O. and Chen's voice blends well together... Just what D.O. said, the most comfortable duet partner in EXO for him is Chen though he likes singing with Baekhyun as well... It's just Chen's voice is higher than Baekhyun and D.O. EXO's vocal line is great :)
actually baek's voice is higher and baekhyun got a better vocal range but chen got a much better supported range and having a wider supported range is much better than just having a good vocal range that have painfully strained high notes and low notes.
lower register: chen(one of the best lower registers in korea among tenors and most male vocalists are tenors including everyone in exo except for chanyeol and kris. very clear sounding lower register that doesnt fade out and become airy or sounding like a vocal fry) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>D.O>>>>Baekhyun
middle register/mixed voice (high belted notes): chen(he got one of the best mixed registers in kpop among tenors and the reconance comes so effortlessly and his mixed register is so balanced)>>>>>>>D.O>>>>>baekhyun(head dominant unbalanced mixed voice but not a bad mix)

+Ana Marie chen has higher belted notes but Baekhyun got higher falsetto. I've heard chen belt an F#5 live and thats the same highest note as in iu's "3 octaves". Baekhyuns highest belt is F#5 and that was in the demo of what is love I think but he hasn't belted higher than D5 live. he always lipsync anything above D5 and the same goes to D.O.
+Ana Marie d.o is only a little better than Baekhyun I because Baekhyuns lower register is quite weak. he cant go lower than F#2 and he was supposed to hit F2 but it became flat because he couldn't hit it and honestly my sister who is a mezzo soprano can hit lower than that. his mix is unbalanced and is head dominant but head dominant mix also makes it easier to hit higher notes but it's still not the right way. baekhyun strains above G#4 and D.O strains above A4 so its very close.

Stop comparing Chen and d.o with each other! They are both talented, and Chen has never got the right respect he's deserved, so just stop comparing. It's just so sad to see people putting negative comments about Chen, and all the positive comments about D.O

They're both talented with different styles but bith ste great singers. This was amazing - D.O's English was nearly perfect! These two are easily the two best singers in EXO. (Baek and Suho are great too, but D.O and Chen are far more consistent intonation-wise and put more emotion into their singing.)

I think kyungsoo's voice is more round and whole and also is very fluent in english and he's good with runs- a mix of rnb and jazz while chen on the other hand, his is higher in pitch and also powerful. The song is more on like classical thats why d.o's voice is more noticeable sksksksks overall they are SO GOOODDD no need to compare proud exo-l here

i keep coming back to this amazing performance, damn DO's voice is just so full and perfect in this song. From the very first Hmmm, he already got me. I wish he'd do more duets with Chen because their voices sound so good together. Im so glad both are back from the army. I miss them together so much. This song is 100% better the way they sang it, no diss to the original. This is the performance that made me see DO as not just an actor but a magnificent singer. not just someone who can carry a tune, he is great at it. and i doubt there's anyone in kpop with such a soulful voice than him.

TL;DR d.o used to have a lot less technique and support as shown here, but his natural voice tone always smoothed that over. he was extremely unstable and had pitch problems. however, from that time on, he has improved immensely, and his support is now very good.
