@@MattTheCarguy hood struts are garbage they wear out and you end up needing to replace them or using a ghetto hood prop rod it's better to just use prop rod period that wont wear out like those will.
Honda makes some of the best, inexpensive, and reliable vehicles on the market today. They aim to give you reliability, and value at a affordable price. There just as good as a Toyota, but more affordable and you get more for your buck with Honda. Being raised in a union family, I finally broke down and bought my first foreign vehicle, and my first Honda, a 21 CRV, and I love it. Very fuel efficient, plenty of space, and more options than I know what to do with. I felt bad at first buying from a foreign automaker, being my father was a Teamster, and would probably set this thing on fire if he was still alive, but the dealership made great points, the CRV is assembled by united auto workers in USA, engine, and transmission are all manufactured in USA, the dealership said it's more American than the American vehicles. I tried to buy from an American automaker, but simply put Ford, Chrysler, and GM simply are not making quality vehicles anymore, AKA there making JUNK. They are selling quantity over quality, and that has never worked in USA because people remember when they get the shaft, and won't buy from you anymore. I researched all 3 USA manufacturers SUV lineups and learned the following, chevy equinox, bad engines, and transmissions. Chrysler, bad transmissions on everything they sell. Ford Escape, bad Transmissions, Ford Explorer, and Edge bad electronics. Now research on Honda CRV, reliable engine, and Transmission both rated to get well over 250,000 miles if taken care of maintenance wise. Some electronics issues, but they offer an inexpensive warranty package for the electronics overall I love my 21 CRV, and don't regret my purchase. May buy another one day, but it'll be a while, because I've heard the only time you need to buy Honda is when you want to buy one, there that good
Valid points! As a matter of fact most of GMC small SUVs are either manufactured in China (yes, shocking!) or Korea. I worked for Honda dealership from 1998 till 2015 and can definitely say that they make quality vehicles. We had one customer who did deliveries and put 500k miles on his Civic hatchback before replacing the engine and replaced clutch at 300k. He then continued to drive it with a goal to hit one million miles. Not sure if he acomplished that or not as the dealership was sold and i lost contact with them.
I have a 22 pearl white touring and I LOVE it. Not a fan of the 23 for many reasons, no flat cargo floor which is important to me cause I car camp on occasion, no fold down seat handles in the rear,no fog lights. I love the chrome piece at the bottom of each side on the 22, the jewel LED headlights looks classy, kinda Acura like. As far as negatives for the 22, the infotainment system is out dated but I can live with it. I also love the rims and 19’s on my 22, the 23’s rims and tires on all trim levels look like a rental car, plain and small. I’m keeping my 22 until the wheels fall off which will probably out live me LOL thanks for the review
Thanks for your comment. I also like the previous generation one. I think it was one of the most succesful CRVs ever. The new ones are growing on me especially after recently test driving the top of the line Sport Touring Hybrid model. I do agree with pretty much all of your points. Thanks for watching!
Good review and POV review. EX is nice but Sunroof is a no no. Too many potential problems .Not good in 🔥 Hot climate, not good in the wintery parts of the country. Honda.,where is the Hood insulation pad????
I like that in the interior, dash and console areas, you won't see any of that piano black plastic, which only serves to collect and showcase dust and fingerprints. Every other suv in this category has gobs of that crap all over, hate it.
I have a 2023 EX. Love it so far. Plenty of options and room. Drives very nicely. Replaced my 2004 Accord with 247k miles.
Nice! Thats whats Honda is all about ... 250k miles. Ive seen a Civic hatchback CX with 500k on original engine

Great demonstration, thank you my friend😊
Thanks for visiting. Cheers!
Excellent video! You did a great explanation. ❤️
Thank you!
ex is not the base model, there is an lx model
Now Honda added the LX model as they are short on many options especially the blind spot assist. LX was not available until March of 2023.

Not a fan of piano black myself
Tu compras un Toyota es lo mismo plástico muy duro no hay diferencia de Toyota a Honda exento honda es más lujosa que Toyota
That is true
Para el precio es manual no 👎 la cajuela. Honda son muy Tacaños 😮
They are very conservative. But so is most of their competition.
