Hi Daniel! Thanks, this is like gold! I'm really enjoying this, I'm using OnShape right now and some features are different but what counts is the mindset, not the tool itself. I'm trying to model a frame like I want it, but using Columbus pre-bent tubing to speed up the (eventual) manufacturing and so I can use round to oval tubes for better clearance. I'm really looking forward to the release of the dropout drawings, those are very very elegant!
I’m sorry. I might have missed this earlier in the video. How long are the chainstays in your example? And at about 24:45 or so into the video, you said that this example will have a dimple of about 5-6 mm for tire clearance. Do you mean 5-6mm per each side of the chainstay? Beyond that, you’d really be squashing the chainstays big time.
Good question. I do that as an internal check and to avoid extrapolating mistakes. Since the dropout body is "hardcoded" into the CS-subassembly, if I accidently clock the dropout incorrectly or mess up the dropout file, I will know something is wrong right away..

2:42 Will it include how to go about cadding forks and handle bars?
not yet! Still figuring out the CAD workflow for carbon forks. Handlebars are straight forward to CAD, bu not my area of expertise to build
