About 27 years ago, we lived a little southwest of where the expo was. We were only there a year. Every time we go back to that area we say we feel like we are home. It is so beautiful with so much to offer homesteading families.

I liked when Jason said he really wanted just enjoy himself. You should enjoy yourselves on these expo’s.
We are in a similar season. We want to move out of the city. We have a beautiful home but only a quarter acre with a HOA that takes photos of your property and fines you for any plants, paint, weeds the dont aprove of. We homeschool our 5 kids but my hunby works at a university so we need to be in this state. It all feels like SO much. Our heart are moving on from this place but weve yet to find the path to the next. We are SO lonely in the city which is weird. Anyway, i pray one day to have even 1 like minded family to spend time with!
Trust in gods plan and he will lead you...

I know what you mean about living in indecision about your home. I cannot take care of my house anymore on the outside. I tend to have two bad falls a year and am trying to decide where to go if I sell my house. Different state? Assisted living? I pray about .

You’ve been busy constructing new additions to your homestead and renovating what you have. Might be nice to pause and enjoy the improvements. I do feel restlessness everywhere and agree that it precedes a big change. Enjoy your accomplishments. When things are clear and calm, it’ll be time to move. ❤

Finding land will come with who you know. Most people buy farms by word of mouth and relationships here. The ranch next door is for sale, I’d love if you’d move here, I’m hoping for good neighbors if we have to have any 😊.
One of the major reasons I would have to be really called to move is because of all the amazing people around us. So I can really relate.

Yes, it seems when we are closer to God's will, the devil gets scared and shovels a bunch of chaos at us and we have to push through and I do believe when we are closer to a big change that God is leading through the chaos increases. I am so happy that you all are allowing God to lead the way and that you continue to fight through this. I have heard many others with similar stories. The devil hates for people to know who they are called to be and he is terrified of people saving lost souls. Prayers for you all.

I'm sitting here listening to your story and having to pause to talk to my husband because we just made a move that wasn't easy but so needed and worth it. We were also led by God and just listening to His calling and moving forward everything seemed to just fall into place. We moved 9 hours away with animals, farm equipment, along with our household which took 5 trips. It was exhausting but now we look back and feel a calm in our lives that has come only from following His leading. With this being said I suggest continuing to pray and following God's leading no matter how hard you think it will be, He will make a way.
Wow that must have been such a lot of work! I have found though that there is grace for those hard things that we need to do and then comes the reward of being where we are supposed to be. Thank you for the reminder and for your encouragement 💗

Hi I know how you both feel when God prepares you for what he wants us to do we had to move church and help carry another church along and had big challenges it is so hard but it’s very rewarding walking with the lord we love your family so much all I can say is keep praying and ask the lord to show you the way in all situations sending love prayers and blessings to you all 🙏❤️
