Absolute bull. Dusty had that wrapped up with a bow for him. Literally the greatest individual V/AFL season of all time and he holds the record (now tied) for the most brownlow votes in a season at 36. Legendary season. Danger was incredible in 2017 but not Dusty incredible.

@nathand4500 Another amazing individual season but even Lethal said Martin had the greatest. Maybe he's just being humble though. Both incredible history making seasons.

I didn't realise the Rising Star was a "fairest and best" as well. I just thought it was given to whomever was the best rookie of the year - and given their rookie status, some errors of judgement (which essentially is what Darcy and Reid had) would be expected. The Brownlow on the other hand has always been for the Fairest and Best and so a suspension rubbing you out of that is justified.
