Veterancarrun London - Brighton 2023 in a Mercedes Simplex built in 1904!

It was an automotive world that was almost completely unknown to me and into which the Mercedes-Benz Museum took me at the beginning of November, because I was previously more familiar with vehicles that were built around 1900 from the museum. The English are quite conscious of tradition anyway, as you know if you've ever experienced the fireworks that are regularly set off in Goodwood. The Veterancarrun is celebrated even more, as tens of thousands line the streets when the train of vehicles built up to 1905 sets off in London to reach the seaside resort of Brighton, 60 miles away. And because the cars of course have neither heating, let alone heated seats, you can start this event in November...
It was definitely a special kind of adventure and I hope that with this video I can share with you some of the fascination that these old vehicles and especially of course the Mercedes Simplex had on me!
