I have one of your emulators for almost two years now and when I saw your previous videos earlier I was wondering "Why isn't here using one of his own emulators?!" and here we are :D
haha, I kind of can't imagine developing low level code without an emulator, but I know that not everyone has access to it, but most people have at least the eprom programmer ... hence in the first video I didn't show the emulator :)
The emulator project is on GitHub, link in the description. I sometimes offer kits / assembled units but I don't currently have stock. A minimum build of the emulator is possible with just a single 62256 SRAM the 74 series logic and an Arduino Nano, the project is shared on PCBWay but gerbers and KiCad sources are also on GitHub... Enjoy!
I’m still waiting on Amazon to deliver some of the parts I need for working on my NABU, so it’s still in the box. I’ve been doing RE on the ROMs that people have posted. My goal will be CP/M without modifying the ROM, so boot sector over RS422 then SD disk emulation.
I love watching you guys brining the Nabu to life. So awesome.
I'm so glad the devs found this work important enough to save for nearly 40 years, and even more glad their efforts paid off.
Yep, for sure, we are all now enjoying :)
Excellent video and work! Thanks for sharing

Awesome work. This will definitely speed up development work. Will you be selling assembled units, or are you only providing gerbers/BOM/firmware?
