    This is very well played. And it's a very nice piece that I have played some times back in the 80's.

    I wonder why Chandos have not released their GUS catalogue of recordings on cd

      I've been asking myself this same question for years. The Chandos catalogue/library is now available online - except for this album! This entire LP was outstanding, a glorious sound, clean technique and very musical. One of my all time favorites.

    Bands don't seem to play with the same energy and raw talent nowadays?

      the bands are not as musical as the bands in the 70's and 80's.

      I think it because bands are playing way too many "arrnaged for BB" rather than written for.

    Interesting...I have heard a few wind bands play this but not a brass band
