Sweden won because they had the most maximum points, so twelve points from more countries. Despite, the same amount of points, France did not win.
not quite true. sweden had more 10 points then france. not 12. they have same amount of 12 points.
Much better than Carola's song.
She was absolutely briliant, should have won ❤
They had the same number of 1st places so it went on the 2nd places so Sweden won. A couple of years later the tie break rules were changed to which country in the tie break were voted by the most number of countries, they both had 146 but France got their score from more countries than Sweden, so if the new tiebreaker was in place France would have won
@@luisfilipe9272 they had the same number of 12 points as France.
Amina was robbed. I met her one night in Madrid and we partied and she told us all the secrets of Eurovision 1991. And funnily enough, the only song she actually remembered was Yugoslavia!!!! (one of my guilty pleasures).
Think Brazil was one of best songs from YU, unlike 1989 winning song. That preview video was good, but live was ruined all with heavy make-up. 😒Also Italian orchestra was terrible and ruined many songs like Greece and Finland, which guitar intro sounded like played with fog horn. 🤮
@ Totally and absolutely agree!
@@JustinMcCarthy-cy1mv Somehow the mood remands me a bit of Paradisio Bailando from 1997, maybe her voice? 😄
