put two halberds and two aton lasers on the osprey with the high scatter amplifier mod spec and you can smash through shields and armor alike albeit only every few seconds. you do have to be very careful though as the osprey is designed as an artillery ship so the reduced range from HCA makes you very all or nothing so if the osprey is your biggest ship i wouldn't recommend it. but if you play behind and around a heavy cruiser or anything bigger you can one shot a lot of destroyers shields or no and pose a big threat to bigger ships.
