Vande Bharat trains are having propulsion systems on each rakes to offer powerful acceleration without any jerks . But EMU kind of trains are primarily designed for passenger transport . EMU trains are not feasible for Freight runs as it doesnt run on semi permanent coupling models which EMU has . For freight trains it doesnt have a fixed train length it varies depending on the number of goods to be travelled and the overall of weight of the train . . Locomotives are added to the front and the rear of the train depending on power requirements . So it could have combination of both electric and diesel locomotives.
Usually what we get to hear is that the bankers operate the train till Lonavla and the main front engine only keeps an eye on the track to guide the bankers...here it doesn't seem so since wdg 4 is at top notch...can anyone explain how the speeds of both the rear and front engines are handled?
@@detroitofasia2632 usually when there are 3 bankers the LP drives from the last banker and one additional Crew member in kept in leading banker just to make sure everything is working fine. Here are 6 bankers so 2 Banker LP in 2 bankers out of 6 and that 1 additional crew in leading banker.

One person said the freight stalled in middle ghat so 3 extra banker were called from karjat to push and continue till Lonavla

How does the 6 serial locos works?
Its called MU( Multiple unit) operation which means the multiple locomotives can be remotely controlled from one locomotive cab by the loco pilot.
Here only 3 Locos are MU. So 6 locos are driven by 2 main locos in which the crew sits and operate..

They are in contact over walky talky.. and Both rear and front locos put efforts while climbing.
