Have mine as well. I'm from the Philippines and it really suites my needs. I live in a hill area with climbs at about 35* degrees, 3kilometers. I'm 50kg and the bike maxes out at 45Kph with my weight; 30Kph on uphill climbs (30*degrees) at full battery. I mainly use the bike for grocery shopping carrying 10-12Kg of load each time. Awesome bike.
It’s a legit bike for the money and the fact that it gets delivered in 3-7 days is awesome. I wish the brakes were hydraulic vs mechanical but they still work pretty decent. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeigkJ9
I've got this bike and I love it. Unfortunately my left crankarm came loose when I had to pedal home... pedaling on a wobbly crank arm is something you def shouldn't do. This wore down the "square" in the crank arm. Company was great and sent me out a replacement arm. Just needed to show them a video and photo of my damaged part and the replaced it with a new bolt (this one had lock tight on it).

Right now, it's going for $800 before tax and free shipping off of Amazon. It'll be my second rodeo when it comes to owning and riding an e-bike. The first one I bought out of need out of a Pennsylvania auto shop sold off eBay. Not much to go on, but lesson learned with this one, going for a fraction of the cost of the leading high-end electric bikes out there such as the Super73. Look forward to getting mine tomorrow.
Heyyy! Loving all your reviews on these bikes, was looking at a lot of e-bikes and this one has caught my eye, I’m curious about the differences in wattage. I believe I heard the 1000W has less range due to it taking more power, does the 750W version have a speed difference?
yes may have less range as it pulls more power. Not sure if the 1000w is faster than the 750w but it might take more time to get to top speed with 1000w vs 750w. if the 1000W is not much more money then buy it

Excellent video 👌 Just a quick question. I would like to know if it is possible to install a child seat either on the frame (front) or with some kind of cargo support (rear).
Hi. I just bought one. The seller told me that the battery frame is not waterproof. He told me a little bit of rain will completely damage it. I’m worried for the winter, as it will rain quite a lot and i have to take out my battery when parking to prevent theft
I think most ebikes would have this issue with the battery removed and the connector is exposed to weather. You could alway wrap or put a protective cap over the battery connector when the battery is removed
Great Bike! Have 1.000 miles on it! But unfortunately my little brother lost its leather pillow of extra baggage, which u don't set as I see on your video. Does anybody have an idea where can I buy this leather pillow? Thanks!
Hey pal, :) nice review! Can I ask you if the motor code located on the rear wheel has the 750w value printed on it? Can you post a pic of that code? I live in Europe, ebike laws here sucks (only 250w/25kmh limited). In case of any police control, I want to know if that wattage is visible on that code. :) Thank you!
Fir sure i will check when i get home later this week and I understand what your looking for. I believe the hub motor does not have 750w identifier but let me check again to confirm
Just get it say to the police whatver dont be a knob and they wont care. Im 16 and when i was 14 i rode my escooter of the pavement and did a full u turn right in the main road infront of police on 60mph scooter they flashed me and spoke a little they just said “nice bit of kit we arent going to take it but just be safe and careful” the scooter itself was massive and very fast so you should be fine with bike like this
I bought a v8 bike. Why sometimes the performance is high and sometimes not so satisfactory. I realized this in equal conditions with the battery at its maximum charge.
I have not noticed this issue with mine. I do notice if its cool in the morning when I first start to ride, motor is not warmed up and battery chemistry takes a miles or 2 to get going
Great videos about this bike, do you know where I can find another battery for this bike? takes a lot to charge but having 2 will solve the problem. Thanks in advance.
I believe this 48V/15Ah battery will work: ebay.us/bp5pi2 If you don't need the range on the 2nd battery you could always save $60 and go with the 10Ah (estimated range 14 miles)
Yes, you could easily add a battery to this bike as I just looked under the seat at the controller and the battery connector is XT60. I recommend using battery combiner to protect each battery amzn.to/3BgxZf3 and then 48v battery in bag you can hang under the seat. amzn.to/3sxbsHe. Everything would be plug and play and can be reversed easy

Hey b rich, i bought the new 2.0, and i ride every time with two persons, but i only get 20 to 30 km of range with pedaling and avg speed of 30 km an hour, is there a problem or is this because of the 2 riders?
Where did you buy the compartment that puts the water inside? And the other question is: I'm not able to know how fast I am or how many kilometers I've covered because my monitor is not configured correctly... Do you know how I can configure this? My another question is: what is the maximum number of pedal assistance level? Would it be 5 ? Mine only goes up to 3. Is it unconfigured too? Thanks.
I bought the bike 3 days ago and already have 100kms on it. What do i need to do for maintenance so my bike lasts years? Do i need to do a check up in a shop already or not yet?
160km range on single battery is not accurate; maybe at low speed. 45km with 15Ah battery is reasonable. The ridstar Q20 is full suspension where as the Ouxi v8 is not
You could change the motor or higher out control might put more amps in the motor to go faster. I wouldn’t buy a new motor as buy the time you do that your into bike $1500 when you can guy this bile for $1500 which is faster, bigger batteries, full suspension aluminum frame vs steel on ouxi. ruclips.net/video/y3XJkRnppJ0/видео.html
They only sell the 250w version here In Belgium will it be worth buying and could I get the speed up to 50/kmh? The salesman told me I could only get it up to 30km/u
hello i watched your videos about ouxi v8 electric bike i saw that you intend to change the controller to get more power, could you share it with me? Do you think the engine can handle more power? That should drain the battery faster, right?
The motor would most likely handle going from 22A to 25A. Not sure about 30A. see other video ruclips.net/video/eio8I__Cx7M/видео.html and swap the stock controller is 22A to 25A s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DB07idN

@@BRichSolution When the bike is with the rear wheel suspended, it's normal. But when I ride it now it has this weird noise the makes the whole bike vibrate. Also it does not work on standard 48 volts, I had to change it to 36 because it kept giving me er06. Now the bike is slower and making weird sounds. Not even one month that I bought it. 😪
What does user manual er06 code say? Link to Display & Controller settings user manual: drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view?usp=sharing
I believe there is a fuse by the controller which is under the seat. Check the voltage coming from controller when you twist the throttle. If voltage when throttle is twisted then the motor is bad. If not voltage it could be fuse or bad controller.
Hey rich, I just got this bike and after about 5 miles it just randomly shut off and would turn on after 20 mins and randomly shut off again. Do you know why this is happening?
Most likely battery is loose or a connection. Make sure to lock the battery into the frame with key to prevent it from jumping around. If it happens again remove the battery and re-install it and if it turns on then its the battery connection to the bike and need to make sure its secure

Front suspension is enough but check out Ridstar Q20 is better value and its full suspension
@@BRichSolution I can get an ouxi v8 with hydraulic brakes for 1075 dollar, and an ridstar for 1200, what do you recommend??
What do you think about adding another 48v battery on it so you can go greater distance?
Yes, I did that see this video ruclips.net/video/nLNtF0iRzzk/видео.html
Hey b rich, i bought the new 2.0, and i ride every time with two persons, but i only get 20 to 30 km of range with pedaling and avg speed of 30 km an hour, is there a problem or is this because of the 2 riders?
The extra weight of 2 rider will limit range. Try PAS level 4 instead of 5 should help with range
Are you able to remove the 2nd sear attachment from the bike?
How is it holding up? How many miles has it now? Any other issues? Is it a good choice to buy this bike or should i get a expensieve bike?
Bike is comfortable to ride. The ouxi v8 is great value. Look for it on sale for singles day on 1/11
Parker Lights
Ya
Where did you buy the compartment that puts the water inside? And the other question is: I'm not able to know how fast I am or how many kilometers I've covered because my monitor is not configured correctly... Do you know how I can configure this? My another question is: what is the maximum number of pedal assistance level? Would it be 5 ? Mine only goes up to 3. Is it unconfigured too? Thanks.
There is a link to bike bag in description under the video
@@BRichSolution Thanks. And about my another’s questions ?
Hey Rich do you think you can change the throttle to thumb? Love your reviews!
Ya you should be able to change it to thumb throttle… ive done the opposite on my Madmods (thumb throttle to twist without issue)
@@BRichSolution Do you know what type of plug to use?
I use thumb throttle and everytime i use it for so long it hurts my thumb
I live at michigan and i have ouxi v8 and it only needs the breaks to be fixed, do you know any places that can fix it
Any bicycle shop can fix the brakes but I suggest upgrading to hydraulic brakes For $56
ruclips.net/video/jx17qqYm5EE/видео.html
Can you take out the battery so as to charge it at home and leave the bike?
Yes all of this style ebike batteries are easily removable
I bought the bike 3 days ago and already have 100kms on it. What do i need to do for maintenance so my bike lasts years? Do i need to do a check up in a shop already or not yet?
Keep chain lubed
Replace brake pads when needed
Replace tires when needed
I bought my wife one of these bikes she loves bit now wants more speed lol what controller size would you recommend I upgrade to
Lol you she has a need for speed
I believe a 25A or 30A controller like this will work just check the connections
s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqrfoYO
how many hours does it take to charge from 0 to 100?
Probably 5-7 hrs. Not recommended to go to zero on any recharge batteries if y out can avoid it
Is the range 160 km?
160km range on single battery is not accurate; maybe at low speed. 45km with 15Ah battery is reasonable. The ridstar Q20 is full suspension where as the Ouxi v8 is not
Do you know of anyway to get the OUXI V8 to go faster? Mine is limited to 31.2 mph.
31 mph is about as fast as you can go with 48V and 750w motor. 52V battery might get you to 33-34. $5000 super 73 only do 32 mph
@@BRichSolution Thanks I'm happy with the speed just wondered if there was a setting to get it a little faster.
As I love the design of this bike. The problem with this is the un-udjustable seat height. 😢
Thats why the seat is long to slide back to adjust pedal position
Hi, how much km/Miles can I ride on this bike when settings are put into maximum speed and No pedalling?
Max speed no pedaling I get 24-27 mile range
Is it good for two people ?
Yea for short rides. I would not wank to ride two people more than 3 miles of 5km
i was looking at the bike linked in the vid and i saw the digital screen looks different to the one shown on the video . is it the same or different?
It appears to be the same, they may have updated it
Do you need license to ride it? Is it suitable for uber deliveries?
Is the USA no license, not sure about other countries
You can change the motor to make it faster right?
You could change the motor or higher out control might put more amps in the motor to go faster. I wouldn’t buy a new motor as buy the time you do that your into bike $1500 when you can guy this bile for $1500 which is faster, bigger batteries, full suspension aluminum frame vs steel on ouxi. ruclips.net/video/y3XJkRnppJ0/видео.html
Is the battery easy to remove? So for example when im going to do groceries I van easily take it off?
Yes the battery is removable and has a key lock. See assembly video ruclips.net/video/hHi8wtKp-9g/видео.html
hie Rich any idea about its legality in the UK roads
Yes legal in UK. Check local ebike laws for max motor size is 250W or 750w? Link to buy in Europe s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeigkJ9
Im 189cm 6’2 1/2, will this be a good fit?
Yes my friend is 187cm rides this bile without issues
Which one do u recommend me buying which frame size Im around 5’3 5’4 without shoes
The ouxi will fit you at 5’3”
@@BRichSolution am I on my tippy toes if I’m 5’3?
They only sell the 250w version here In Belgium will it be worth buying and could I get the speed up to 50/kmh? The salesman told me I could only get it up to 30km/u
30km/h with 250W sounds about right. To speed it up you’ll need a bigger motor like 500W or 750W
hello i watched your videos about ouxi v8 electric bike i saw that you intend to change the controller to get more power, could you share it with me? Do you think the engine can handle more power? That should drain the battery faster, right?
The motor would most likely handle going from 22A to 25A. Not sure about 30A. see other video ruclips.net/video/eio8I__Cx7M/видео.html and swap the stock controller is 22A to 25A s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DB07idN
@@BRichSolution thanks for answering. I bought an ouxi V8 here in Brazil and I look forward to seeing the change you will make. Will you make a new video?
Rich, can you help me? I changed the configuration of my ouxi to 48v 22a but I realized that even with the battery 100% . I saw that the battery level starts to go down very fast right on the first accelerate. I went back to the old 36v 12a setup. Do you know why this happens? Do you know if I can change it to 48v and leave 20A and if that will improve?
So can we adjust the bite to be shorter because I’m short?
Seat cannot be adjust on this style bike. Try engwe m20 as the lower seat try that www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4PBSP2V/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_VRXFKM66ZS0NZG3M649N?linkCode=ml2&tag=brichsoluti0a-20
So to adjust one's height to the pedals you would just slide up & down the seat? @@BRichSolution
Great bike, i did order hydraulique brakes, hoping it will work better
Are the hydraulic brakes you order have motor cut off wires? Are the wires plug and play with stock controller?
@@BRichSolution yes indeed, I was able to speak with the supplier and he told me that the new bike ship to the US have hydraulique and he sent me photo and a link to the brake, i could send you the ref if you want

Is there a dual battery on this Ouxi v8? Or Just only one battery?
you can buy with dual battery see ad s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeigkJ9
Is the steering wheel height adjustable? I'm considering to buy this bike but I feel like I'm way to tall (6'1").
Handbar height will be sufficient for you. My neighbor rides this ouxi v8 without issue and he is 6’1”. Worst case you can install a stem risers to raise handlebars in 5 minutes for $11. amzn.to/3oeFIIf
@@BRichSolution Alright awesome thanks so much
Hi, is this ebike class 2 or class 3? Thanks to anyone who responds
Class 3 as it has 750W motor
In Europe they sell class 2 with 250W motor
Online it said somewhere class 2, and it has a throttle so wouldn't it be class 2?
Hey bro i got this bike do u know anything about whats goin on if turn throttle motor spins but back wheel dont move and wont go backwards....cheers
Ask seller or manufacturer. Sounds like a bad throttle. Had similar issue with another ebike
@BRichSolution cheers mate
This one or the yolin one?
Yolin is awesome bike for the money. But it is $500 more then Ouxi
Hey on the Ali express website it says it would arrive in 2 months is there any faster shipping?
This ad says one week USA warehouse. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress.
s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMt8lB2. Also consider Ridstar Q20 as its bigger battery full suspension and cost the same. ruclips.net/video/mX1VoVLtKXw/видео.html
How long does the bike battery last in order for me to charge again.
Battery lasts for 22-40 mile’s depending on speed and weight of rider
How long the battery Last with a speed of 29 mph?
Ouxi v8 Range at 28mph throttle only no pedaling on flat ground pavement with 48v / 15Ah battery and 750W hub motor is 25 miles
Do you know how to unlock the 28mph speed throttle only?
Thats about all the bike will do with 750w hub motor
My fatbike says e 10 on the bottom on my screen
E10 is communication issue. Check cable connections with the motor. See link to user Manuel drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view?usp=sharing
How much does this bike weigh?
75 lbs
Is there anyone that can help me with a question about the Ouxi V8. I just purchased an OUXI V8 and I was wanting to check which motor the bike has 750W US version or the 250W European version?
Are there no markings on the center of the rear wheel?
No markings!@@BRichSolution
My ebike is making a weird and vribating sound in the hear motor, it's not like it was before.
From the hub motor?
@@BRichSolution When the bike is with the rear wheel suspended, it's normal. But when I ride it now it has this weird noise the makes the whole bike vibrate. Also it does not work on standard 48 volts, I had to change it to 36 because it kept giving me er06. Now the bike is slower and making weird sounds. Not even one month that I bought it. 😪
@@BRichSolution It started to appear in high speeds, now the weird sound is often
What does user manual er06 code say?
Link to Display & Controller settings user manual: drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view?usp=sharing
@@BRichSolution er06 is low voltage. Also the motor is like, vibrating too much, and makes the whole bike vibrate
What if the motor or anything from the bikes stop working, what should i do
I believe there is a fuse by the controller which is under the seat. Check the voltage coming from controller when you twist the throttle. If voltage when throttle is twisted then the motor is bad. If not voltage it could be fuse or bad controller.
hey does this have a pedal assist i'm thinking about buying one. Also if you were to drop from some places do the suspensions dampen the impact?
Yes it has pedal assist and throttle. You can easy transition between pedal assist and throttle. The bike has front suspension see video 3:10
@@BRichSolution do you know what type of batteries they use in the battery
Would this be good with a 5'3" person?
Yes 5’3” you will be okay
