Schnickes Heim hast du dir daraus gebaut. Sehr schön durchdach und sehr viel Platz. Vor allem die Wassertechnik ist sehr beeindruckend. Gefällt mir echt gut.
Bezüglich Wassertechnik...... die Hauswasserwerke sind auch nicht immer über alle Zweifel erhaben, so habe ich im Sommer 2020 auf dieser Reise www.traveltruck.ch/Bildergalerie_Reisen/2020_08_Tschechien_Polen_Litauen_Lettland_Estland/index.html 2 mal eine neue Pumpe installieren müssen. Was ich dabei gelernt habe ist, dass der Tank des Wasserwerks aus Chromstahl www.traveltruck.ch/Bildergalerie_Reisen/2020_08_Tschechien_Polen_Litauen_Lettland_Estland/content/20200811_Tschechien_Polen_Litauen_Lettland_Estland_1059_large.html sein muss damit die darin liegende Gummimembrane nicht am rostigen Tank www.traveltruck.ch/Bildergalerie_Reisen/2020_08_Tschechien_Polen_Litauen_Lettland_Estland/content/20200801_Tschechien_Polen_Litauen_Lettland_Estland_626_large.html scheuern kann, dann ist sie nämlich schnell kaputt und Ersatzteile findest Du nicht so schnell obwohl die Baumärke im Baltikum extrem gut ausgestattet sind.
Sehr viel Gedankengut dahinter. Wunderschön dein LKW. Kennst sicher tolle Routen .

Very impressed with your windows! I’d love to see more on that and I’d love the know the hardware supplier. I’m always frustrated with the cost of ktm windows so I’d like to do it other wise but nothing I’ve seen seems comparable. Your product looks impressive in the video. How are you finding they stand up to use and weather?
The windows and the roof hatches are finest swiss craftsmanship made by insolito.ch/category/fenster/ but be aware, the top quality has it's price, but you then will purchase only once. My windows are the Insolito prototype which has improved even more during the last years.
First I had Seitz/Dometic plastic windows and hatches, then I changed the hatches to Outbound but after a few years they became defective. Furthermore I was not happy with the isolation capability of the hatches, even though made of glass, they where not any better than the plastic windows. Too much condensate offseason. That's why I was looking for a sustainable solution.

@@traveltruck1968 thanks! I had a look. Couldn’t speak the language. Figured out that your right. They are expensive! It seems that they shouldn’t be so much but it m a low overhead kinda guy. I’d love to build a truck. I’ve been dreaming and planning for years now but I’m not sure that it’s in the cards. Lots of good ideas I hate to not use. Need some one with more means to pass them on to maybe.
So the glass insulation between layers is better? or do they still condensate in the cold? Their process looked as though they were going to great lengths to accommodate the altitude etc. Wood can certainly be better than metal. I’m not sure how it would stack up against pvc or fibreglass? Again I couldn’t read it but the wood looked like teak, that would be good in the weather...
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing. My question is why you chouse a 12 liter engine, and been amazed by the adressed fuel consumtion of 25 l/100 km that is the consumption of a 6 liter engine. Can you explain ?
First of all, I choose the wheelbase not because of the engine but because of the fact that the drivers cabin was approved for 7 persons, so the whole family could sit in front while driving. The amazing thing is, that this 12 liter engine with 400 horse power really consumes 24 liter per 100 kilometer measured for more the 100'000 kilometer and this is astonishing moderate for aprox. 13 tons of weigth.
Proper wheelbases are very hard to find, mine was a relocation truck that never had to work very hard, owned by a small local family owned company taking care of their trucks.

At the end I am looking for a motorhome. The truck impressed me. I was looking for a 4x4 in order to be able to get also offroad, but your video show a potent truck with a lot of pros.
Amazing build ! I would love to know where you found a place to build this ? Its really hard to find a workshop in Switzerland.
