Idk if anyone mentioned this but there’s a scientific reason why it takes you longer to finish a smaller water bottle than a large tumbler. It’s because humans naturally have a scarcity mindset where our brains will tell us that we have to make the small amount of something last because it’s all we have. This is heightened for people who’ve experienced the trauma of not having enough water, food, safe spaces, etc. it’s our survival instinct. That’s also why a lot of health people like nutritionists and such recommend serving yourself on smaller plates if you want to lose weight, your brain will see it as all you have so it’ll make it work for your body.
This is true! I started exercising 10 minutes a day, gradually increasing & I am down 17 lbs in a month!! I also started doing caloric deficit (not mindlessly snacking at work) drinking only water, cutting back on coffee, etc.
I often question if I’m lazy because sometimes I just don’t feel like it. I’m a mom of 3 and have a full time job so most of the time when I think I’m lazy I’m just burnt out or I’ve spent too much time consuming the socials “in between time”. I’m converting from consuming to creating more this year. This was a helpful video. I read the book Atomic Habits and have it displayed in my living room as a reminder. I think I need to read it again as I’m about to start back on my fitness journey too.
I've listened to the book habits. I thought it was a book about marketing. It revealed to me that companies study the consumer like lab rats. So i thought. these companies know me better than i know myself, and that's crazy. They take their time to try and try again until they have a favorable result, while i would give up after so many times. Love this video ❤

I wanted to enter my glow up girl era and just be a better person in overall. One of them i wanted to change was practicing self care and change my habits. I'm now 2 weeks free from sodas, juices, snacks, chocolate, and fast food. Only water for me and healthy foods and yes I felt bad at first physically but that's because my body was trying to detox all the bad foods I used to eat and wanted it back. But i pushed through because I know in the long run my body and my mind will thank me. We only get one body in this life, take care of it early.
I watched porn and I felt so bad because I wanted to quit but I saw this video and clicked and because of this I installed a porn blocker vpn that makes it difficult to watch porn. Thank you, I'll keep this video in handy so I come back and watch
