I mean it isn't that big of an advantage. Solar flare doesn't really have great decks that benefits from this. Aggro solar flare gets controlled by the crazy class, which is a very popular and good class to play. Pineclone is pretty inconsistent since if you don't draw pineclone, your other weaker plants in your deck just does nothing.
@@lyndsaypeters5981 that's a fun deck, especially since you can create crazy combos like double dandy lion king or astrovera. Actually a pretty good tier list, especially considering that you made all your decks and didn't look at the Fry Em Up or Database decks. The main problems with the tier list: 1) In general, it’s difficult to understand how to rank heroes, because on the one hand Huge Gigantacus has almost no good decks, on the other hand, the one that he have is OP (Telimps) 2) Immorticia is a good hero. Yes, she is a little outclassed by brainstorm, but not much, and some decks are better with her, because she has cards like cyborg, cheesecutter and bounty hunter, which help you win even without trickster 3) I hate to say it, but Z-mech is not that good. While he has a lot of good decks and is a lot of fun to play, he's just not as good as other heroes. It's kind of hard to explain, I'd say his decks are just usually a little weaker than others (personally I'd put him in B). Btw he is probably one of my favorite heroes too.
Z-mech, and a lot of hearty heroes for that matter, have a lot of trouble killing without just throwing over stats at the problem. Especially seeing as how he only really has one viable method of using bonus attacks, that being Going Viral, you tend to just get your field killed before you get to do anything. Also, crazy and hearty just don't have great synergy either.
@@TheCrimsonCoon Well, Z-Mech has a Trick mech (or Fry mech) this deck wins incredibly quickly. But yeah, usually hearty by itself is not very good and you need to look for combos with other classes, for example paparazzi with treat and going viral
I have to disagree with your point on Z-Mech. Sure, he is definitely not S tier, but he is definitely better than "not that good." Z-Mech in the history of Pvzh had his ups and downs. He was really dominant during 2020-2021 with trickmech or some variation of that. Even to this day, this deck still wins consistently in ladder ultimate league. Been playing this game since it came out, absolutely love it, and while I do agree witha good portion of this list, solar flare and wall knight deserve to be higher. And I'm totally not biased because they are the two heroes I play the most.
hey, really good video! This game is extremely fun and the reality is that while some heroes are better than other there's not really a bad hero, all are good and have good niches! For example, in competitive, Beta Carrotina is a good hero, and better than Citron in the Control archetype since her superpowers make her have card advatage over the rival in the early rounds, which is what you want for a Control deck, and you don't need as meany removal cards for this early turns. I've been playing in the competitive scene for a really long time, and while budget meta isn't my speciallity, I know that Chompzilla is known as the best budget hero! You can make a really cheap and really strong deck for her using heal and environments synergies; (link oh the image of the deck: link doesn't work lmao), main idea is to take advantage of Pepper MD (2cost 2/2 gains +2/+2 each time a card or the hero is healed) and Lil Buddy (0cost 0/1 heal the hero 2) which means by turn 2 you can have a 4/4, which is a bunch of stats. This idea goes hand to hand with cards like Moss and Vegetation Mutation that have the environment synergy, you can actually get a lot of buffs from Vegetation Mutation using only the heights line with a random plant and a team up like Lil Buddy and Kernel-pult! The best thing is that this whole deck is available for only 4300 sparks, so dirty cheap. For zombie heroes, I am aware Electric Boogaloo is the best budget hero, but I don't know as much because I normally play on maxed account. If you want to see a whole archive of the best budget decks feel free to join the rpvzh discord server, which has a database for budget decks, as well as a lot of tips for budget players! I've played this game way more that I would like to admit and is way too fun, really happy too see you have enjoyed it!
well aparently the link doesn't work, I must have done something wrong lmaoo Here's the deck: 4x Lil Buddy 4x Banana Peel 4x Cossmoss 4x Kernel-Pult 4x Applesoucer 2x Coffee Grounds 4x Pepper MD 4x Vegetation Mutation 2x Flourish 4x Elder Berry 2x Plant Food 2x Whipvine I will also leave you with what is considered the best Electric Boogaloo budget deck, at only 3700 sparks! 4x Bungee Plumber 4x Loose Cannon 4x Mystery Egg 2x Snorkel Zombie 4x Unlife of the Pary 4x Disco Dance Floor 2x Final Mission 3x Sugary Treat 4x Jester 4x Loudmouth 1x Surfer Zombie 4x Flamenco Zombie Good luck and have fun! ♥♥♥
Here’s my four best strategies in the game that consistently work for me Citron: A nut deck that uses Go nuts, Mirror nut, and three nut and as support uses Popping poppies and Galactica cactus. Huge Gigantus: Draw an insane amount of cards with Dr. spacetime and support it with strikethrough, bouncing, and thinking cap. Electric Boogaloo: a deck that destroys everything ever played with cards like Fruitcake and B flat, until you can play gargantuan feast. (It really has to have four of the feast tho) And most surprisingly Greenshadow: with a conjure/dino deck using Mayflower, Captain cucumber, lilypad, banana peel, plant food, and all available dinos The heroes I struggle making decks for (despite owning all cards) are Solar flare, Spudow, Smash, Impinity, Brain freeze, and Z mech. (Surprisingly Beta carrotina isn’t one that I can’t make a good deck for)
I really wish immorticia was better, but as of now she only really sorta works because of her brainy class. Its a strong combo, but it works much better on paper than in execution.
Chompzilla is actually broken, since she is both solar and mega grow, she gets access to both heartichoke and venus flytraplanet, which if in the same lane can do an infinite combo until the opponent super blocks , plus the ability to buff them incessantly with mega growth cards
Budget brain freeze kinda sad I watched the intro after I almost had a heart attack green shadow was above my man’s. Brain freeze non budget gets me to rank 50 consistently he’s nice. The community appreciates the love to our small game
I surprised people prefer the zombies I mostly play offline and by God I love playing as most of the plants. I also just have a way easier time winning with the plants
My favorite plant in pvz heroes is for some reason pod father. Some people just don't or can't counter him when it's too late and there's a lot of Pea cards that don't need any synergy to be good in the first place. Also the two time I've used electric blueberry to do its thing (I have 1 in my deck), they just sniped the zombie hero and won me the game
As for me, i was stuck on my last green shadow quest for days just for a dang card pack (some players im fighting against had better decks than mine :'(
@@InitiatorAlly Damn that must suck, I can’t remember too much from how I started. All I remember: Use Aggro Solar Flare, then Chompzilla, then Captain Combustible Used the daily challenges for tickets and gems from the hourly challenges + hero quests to get card packs.I just did 1 packs early on since I get better cards quicker. Just sold the ones I didn’t care about (mainly on the zombies side and other classes, since I didn’t use them) so I could buy some nasty super rare cards for Captain Combustible (black eye pea, split pea, clique peas). Also didn’t bother too much with getting the final quests, especially with heroes I don’t plan on using Rn, I’m just using a Pod Father and Repeat Moss based deck with some extra random cards thrown in, because why not and they can be a big game changer Clique peas x3 Black eye pea x3 Split Pea x4 Sweet Pea x4 Pod Father x4 Plant Food x4 Berry Blast x4 Repeat Moss x3 Fireweed x3 Random cards cause why not: Grow Shroom x2 Flourish x2 Electric Blueberry x1 Molekale x1 Veloci-Radish x1 Banana Launcher x1
One thing I would’ve changed is that you should’ve taken the secondary super powers into consideration as they can make up for the Hero having a bad signature superpower. For example, despite Brainstorm’s Eureka being in the weaker end of ultimate superpowers as most of the time the 3 cards you conjure don’t synergies with your deck, Telepathy and Summoning make up for it. Fun fact, the best super power in PvZ Heroes is a secondary superpower, that being Time to Shine as being able to do a bonus attack for only 1 sun can be game changing as the vast majority of the time, zombies react to plant minions via tricks and using a 1 cost bonus attack to get damage with a buff Tricarrotops is broken as the Zombie most likely intends to use tricks to remove it but can’t as plants play everything before zombies play tricks. If you are planning to use Grass Knuckles frequently, I would craft 4 copies of Plant Food, Black Eyed Peas, Galactic Cacti, and Tricarrotops. Forget Me Nuts works really well for Grass Knuckles too and is probably better for other Guradian Heroes like Citron and Wall Knight, the issue with Forget Me Nuts is if you are running an aggro Grass Knuckles deck where you are also running Galactic Cacti too. These 2 cards synergies poorly as the Galactic Cactus often kills your Forget Me Nuts. Grass Knuckles is the plant hero I main. I personally use aggro bullseye as my deck where you rely on bullseye cards to damage the Zombie Hero early game such as Sting Bean, Galactic Cactus, Juggernaut, and Triccarotops. Gatling is a really good finisher for this deck and you usually want to play it in the water with Sting Bean being the card you plant evolved Gatling Pea from. As a Huge Gigantacus main when playing zombies, he easily has the best superpower kit in the game. If you get his signature superpower in your starting hand it’s game and you’ll never want to use Super Brainz ever again once you have him. However, Huge Gigantacus along with Super Brainz has two major flaws. First off, the Brainy and Sneaky classes don’t synergies well as Brainy mainly revolves around teleporting zombies while Sneaky revolves around gravestones but the biggest issue with both heroes is that they don’t have access to small removal and sometimes loses in Turns 4 and 5 due to them getting overwhelmed by small guys like Galactic Cactus and Triccarrotops. It also doesn’t help that Grass Knucles and Captain Combustile, the two most offensive plant heroes are also good contenders to be the two best plant heroes. I personally run a Raptor deck with him where you have cards like Brainstrom and Thinking Cap buffing up the Raptor, while Laser Base Alpha and Pogo are used to make sure the Raidng Raptor hits the Plant Hero. Some games end up with me having 3-4 zero cost teleports as a Spacetime on a teleportation station makes the teleports be free of costs which can not only teleport the Raiding Raptor in but buff it with the card draw too. If you are planning on using Huge Gigantacus frequently, I recommend crafting 4 copies of Dr. Spacetime, Teleports, and Teleportation Zombies.
You don't really need 4 copies of plant food in your deck. It is a card that will brick you. Instead, 2-3 copies is enough as a win condition and to make sure your tempo doesn't slow down. I'll also point out that photosynthesizer is a thing, that card pairs nicely to buff tricarrotops and ensure your forget me nuts does not die to bungee plumber or galacta cactus splash. If you are concerned with the brainy&sneaky heroes losing against highly aggro decks, play teleimps. This deck is pretty versatile since it ensures that you don't take a lot of damage early game with cheap imps. These cheap imps become a huge threat with imp commander, toxic waste imp, or blob. Overall, this deck works best with HG as his powers enables for overpowered combos like turn 3 space cowboy or just turn 2 imp commander plus imposter and/or neutron imp.
Thanks for the different deck ideas and specific tips! It’s a lot to take in if I’m being honest, but I still appreciate it! As for the secondary abilities, I mostly just wanted to save time so I didn’t discuss them much. I think I really only brought up beta carrotinas
I do wanna say, This game's balance is so much fun I find myself disagreeing with your points a lot. however, I think it's great that a lot of people can go "No, This is how I think it is." Personally wallknight is one of my favorites, super brains is too. Maybe it's because I never unlocked any heroes before but the smash is such a life saver with his teams.
I have never seen two tier lists of the heroes that were the same. I think personal preference is huge in games like this because realistically you can make great decks as any of these heroes
So honestly, i play Electric boogaloo with an all tricks deck. Control the field with removal tricks until i can play Garg feast. I also add gourmet chef and Interstellar bounty hunter to draw more cards. Laslty i have envoirments to remove opponent envoirments.
Fun fact Z-Mech’s signature superpower used to be dealing 3 damage in 3 lanes including hitting the plant hero! Yeah imagine starting a game with that.
It's pretty easy to "hack" your game so you can unlock all the cards. If you emulate the game and edit some files, you can get unlimited sparks so you can craft everything. The game is so much more fun when you do so, I highly reccomend
Two words: Control Boogaloo. He’s unironically a better control hero than immortica and is the only hero in the game that can consistently use Garg Feast, yes he’s better at it than even Professor Brain Storm.
A simple tip for flamanco dance spam decks Use the *aerobics insdructor* That's it... She's a really strong and cheap card, wich allows to play more dancer's, beacuse if she's ignored the entire field gets out of hand and you kinda just win And she's an epic so she's cheap to craft
this is unironically my favourite card game of all time I wish EA didn't bend it over and give it a blood eagle
Ea is actually allergic to good decisions even if it benefits them istg

hey, really good video!
I've played this game way more that I would like to admit and is way too fun, really happy too see you have enjoyed it!
well aparently the link doesn't work, I must have done something wrong lmaoo
Here's the deck:
4x Lil Buddy
4x Banana Peel
4x Cossmoss
4x Kernel-Pult
4x Applesoucer
2x Coffee Grounds
4x Pepper MD
4x Vegetation Mutation
2x Flourish
4x Elder Berry
2x Plant Food
2x Whipvine
I will also leave you with what is considered the best Electric Boogaloo budget deck, at only 3700 sparks!
4x Bungee Plumber
4x Loose Cannon
4x Mystery Egg
2x Snorkel Zombie
4x Unlife of the Pary
4x Disco Dance Floor
2x Final Mission
3x Sugary Treat
4x Jester
4x Loudmouth
1x Surfer Zombie
4x Flamenco Zombie
Good luck and have fun! ♥♥♥
Awesome, I really appreciate that! I really need stuff like this, if you have any more please share them!
Here’s my four best strategies in the game that consistently work for me
Citron: A nut deck that uses Go nuts, Mirror nut, and three nut and as support uses Popping poppies and Galactica cactus.
(It really has to have four of the feast tho)
And most surprisingly
Greenshadow: with a conjure/dino deck using Mayflower, Captain cucumber, lilypad, banana peel, plant food, and all available dinos
The heroes I struggle making decks for (despite owning all cards) are Solar flare, Spudow, Smash, Impinity, Brain freeze, and Z mech.
(Surprisingly Beta carrotina isn’t one that I can’t make a good deck for)
Thank you I really appreciate it!
Good game sad that it was discontinued and Eduardo Santiago’s last video in the membership
Don’t worry he’s back now haha
I really wish immorticia was better, but as of now she only really sorta works because of her brainy class. Its a strong combo, but it works much better on paper than in execution.
It is weird how many heroes kinda feel like they should be really good but are held back
Immorticia is still pretty good. Have you played igmaticia or some variation of that or TOSS?
I love this game I remembered the Galactic Gardens update Its kinda sad they abandoned it :(
I know how you feel with being stuck with Spudow as the weekly hero. For me, I’m fortunately stuck with Rose as the constant weekly hero
Guys, remember to call Chompzilla a "she" or else Jake is gonna bite your toes🛐
Couldn't even tell she was a gal prior to this vid
Bonk choy us a female if you call her a male i will make turn u into gyat 4 gyat brain rot
Chompzilla is a he
@@zaferkaanheken5650
Chomps is a she
THATS IT WHERE ARE YOUR TOES
Damn that tierlist is cool
19:38 -- a cool mechanic I've never seen (the fact that untrickable didn't protect plants due to umbrella dying)
I did not know it was going to work, I just had to try and it was perfect! Did the same exact thing today while playing, it’s the best
Fr congrats on 100k
Chompzilla is actually broken, since she is both solar and mega grow, she gets access to both heartichoke and venus flytraplanet, which if in the same lane can do an infinite combo until the opponent super blocks , plus the ability to buff them incessantly with mega growth cards
Remember; if you wanna look at fanart of Solar Flare, Immorticia, Neptuna and Green Shadow; remember to always have the search safe on.
Off*
@@Jake.Miller That's for Impfinity
Rose and Giganticus S tier, Z-Mech A tier is the only change I would make, otherwise it seems perfect 👌👌
Damn i wish fry em up commented on this vid so i can see two pvzh goats in the same comment section
I’d honestly be curious if he thought my takes were bad or fine or whatever
@Jake.Miller knowing fry every hero is s tier cause of how good he is
Solar Flare and Green Shadow are the definition of "I want to touch grass"
Budget brain freeze kinda sad I watched the intro after I almost had a heart attack green shadow was above my man’s. Brain freeze non budget gets me to rank 50 consistently he’s nice. The community appreciates the love to our small game
Dang you gotta show me the deck you use!
Rustbolt for me is one of the most used and best zombies
since this video I've enjoyed playing as rustbolt more and more
Brainstorm is my favourite, love conjuring but I also like huge gigantacus cause he is just a jack of all trades
Nice choices!
Solar flare SHOULD BE IN S TIER WAIT NO H TIER FOR HOTNESS.
Disgusting
I surprised people prefer the zombies
I mostly play offline and by God I love playing as most of the plants.
All I remember:
Use Aggro Solar Flare, then Chompzilla, then Captain Combustible
Used the daily challenges for tickets and gems from the hourly challenges + hero quests to get card packs.I just did 1 packs early on since I get better cards quicker. Just sold the ones I didn’t care about (mainly on the zombies side and other classes, since I didn’t use them) so I could buy some nasty super rare cards for Captain Combustible (black eye pea, split pea, clique peas).
Also didn’t bother too much with getting the final quests, especially with heroes I don’t plan on using
Rn, I’m just using a Pod Father and Repeat Moss based deck with some extra random cards thrown in, because why not and they can be a big game changer
Clique peas x3
Black eye pea x3
Split Pea x4
Sweet Pea x4
Pod Father x4
Plant Food x4
Berry Blast x4
Repeat Moss x3
Fireweed x3
Random cards cause why not:
Grow Shroom x2
Flourish x2
Electric Blueberry x1
Molekale x1
Veloci-Radish x1
Banana Launcher x1
1:32 Professor brainstorm and 1:34 Immorticia
god i remember this game, downloaded it day 1 it launched, became a potato and green shadow main for a month or two, got bored and left xD
23:21 he's really strong and his packs are coming back sometimes, i think it's always on anniversaries
Yea seems like it
Funfact: everyone has different 10× ticket character rotations, example, one person has SF as 10× and another has NC as 10× in the same week
Top three plant heroes imo grass knuckles, cc, and nightcap
Top three zombies : brainstorm impfinity neptuna
Another Jake miller classic!
Replying before Jake Miller
Boioioing
these videos make me want to replay the game until i see the footage😭😭
Can you do a ranking on pvz heroes cards soon?
I’m waiting to see how this video does, and we’ll go from there. Make sure to like the video and share it with some friends if you wanna see more!
This is my favorite pvz game, I play this on a daily basis, I just absolutely hate captain combustible, he is the most annoying
To play against I assume you mean? I get that
One thing I would’ve changed is that you should’ve taken the secondary super powers into consideration as they can make up for the Hero having a bad signature superpower.
Well, let's see what the most replayed section is!
4:34 *YEP.*
Why do I have to expect?
I do wanna say, This game's balance is so much fun I find myself disagreeing with your points a lot.
however, I think it's great that a lot of people can go "No, This is how I think it is." Personally wallknight is one of my favorites, super brains is too. Maybe it's because I never unlocked any heroes before but the smash is such a life saver with his teams.
I have never seen two tier lists of the heroes that were the same. I think personal preference is huge in games like this because realistically you can make great decks as any of these heroes
20:47 repeat moss is autoinclude, and he's rare, and there are some very good budget decks
Good to know!
Fry em up mentioned let’s gooo
So honestly, i play Electric boogaloo with an all tricks deck. Control the field with removal tricks until i can play Garg feast. I also add gourmet chef and Interstellar bounty hunter to draw more cards. Laslty i have envoirments to remove opponent envoirments.
Ok cool, maybe I should try adjusting my personal deck
I'm glad you toned down the internet humor in this one.
I would say overall my videos have become more and more dedicated to their topics with a few jokes like that sprinkled in
@@Jake.Miller well good job! (I think. Idk if this is what you want or not)
6:00 But the gargonologist strat!
pleashooter (court date peashooter)
Haha that would be a great variant
Fun fact Z-Mech’s signature superpower used to be dealing 3 damage in 3 lanes including hitting the plant hero! Yeah imagine starting a game with that.
Wow. No wonder it got nerfed
A simple tip for flamanco dance spam decks
Use the *aerobics insdructor*
That's it...
She's a really strong and cheap card, wich allows to play more dancer's, beacuse if she's ignored the entire field gets out of hand and you kinda just win
And she's an epic so she's cheap to craft
Yeah she usually doesn’t last long when I try to play her, but it is always great when you get away with keeping her alive
wow i didnt know many people simp on sunflower 🗿
4:23 well it would feel wierd not having a rose in PvZ
RAHHHHH NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME GOOD VIDEO RAHHHH
Haha thanks for the RAAAHHHS
The smash is good at something else 😏
Haha “sigh I wish he’d smash ME”
Hes good at cooking breakfast or something?
@@corn582he ain't called The Smash for nothing. If you wanna find out, you better have health insurance.
Your videos are really cool and i love pvz heroes
Thanks! I do too!
