- Yes August seems way too early for Halloween, but during tonight's first Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney debuted their brand new Fireworks show AND IT IS AWESOME! And yes, that is a puppet of Jack Skellington you may see.

Oh my God. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is the first castle projection show that tells a real story. I mean, an actual story, not just thematic vignettes. It was like watching a new Disney Halloween cartoon projected onto the castle and the sky. I...my jaw dropped. I get that _Happily Ever After_ is the most popular show, I get that. But _this_ is far more ambitious. I have watched hours of videos of this show since 2019 and I am still seeing new details all the time. This is a masterpiece of storytelling, engineering, sound, film projection, fireworks, oh my God-and the timing. And the puppetry of Jack! This show rewards older fans or fans who know vintage Disney. Someone said they thought the music choices were random. They are not. Each song is either a deep cut or a darker ironic variation, like “Someday My Prince Will Come,” an unexpected and haunting choice considering that we are watching ghosts and spirits, dead princes and princesses.
Whoah! That Jack puppets is phenomenal!
This whole show was a whole new level of phenomenal!
I still think Hallowishes is a better all-around show, but that Jack puppet is absolutely wonderful!

wow! this nighttime spectacular sure marks the first (and who knows the only) fireworks spectacular in Magic Kingdom to use the castle stage.

You sir took the best video .you were close enough to the castle to stay on main st so you wouldn't lag.i was watching some livestreams and mist either dudnt zoom in or did zoom in but there were neaer to towne square. Thank you

I endured thousands of people and a random family in front of me that didn’t even have wristbands and wanting to put their potential 8 year old child on their shoulders!! It was a rough night LOL

For a Halloween show...it really lacks any villains. Like Happily Ever after, a regular show has more villians.
It had four villains that chased Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy throughout the mansion to kill them. That’s plenty. They were emphasizing other Halloween moods throughout the show like trick-or-treating, magic, eerie dancing ghosts, funny kinetic skeletons. _Happily Ever After_ has more of everything. That’s not what this Halloween show is about. You want scary villains, go to Universal Studios.

i sure wish Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular debuts at Disneyland Park in california as a replacement of Halloween Screams! it would be awesome! but Sleeping Beauty Castle doesn't have a castle stage, so that won't happen!
They already have mapping projections for Halloween Screams.

This is Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! You’re right about Disneyland though, the Halloween party has been moved across the esplanade to California Adventure

RUclips Fangurl You just gotta budget you’re money every month and have a job with steady income. Just save up $50.00 to $100.00 every month for a whole year and you’ll have more than enough money to pay for everything you need. You should also just limit yourself to bringing 1 person with you to save more money. That fireworks show really has nice visuals. I can see why some people are very spoiled with Mickey’s Halloween party.
Alison Hemmingsen I was able to watch the villainous world of color at California adventure and it was pretty cool overall except for the tone of one of cast members getting the wrong misconception that some people are using flash photography.

To be honest I really hate this version. They are not showing all the villans like they used to and the fireworks dont match the music. It's also not as scary and exciting.

@@TwilightLink77 yeah, but at least it will be for this year only. i'm sure Magic Kingdom will bring back Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2022 when all the pre-coronavirus entertainment returns. though i wish they could make Mickey's Boo to you Halloween Parade a daytime halloween parade similar to the Spooky Boo Parade in Tokyo Disneyland and add the Frightfully Fun Parade from the Disneyland Resort as the nighttime halloween parade.
