    Thanks for producing educational content. I've been teaching my students about instrument families this semester and these videos are very helpful. One comment: at 0:43 you say that "flute and reed pipe sounds are produced by forcing air through one or more thin reeds." Flutes don't use reeds; they create vibration by blowing air over an opening such that the airstream is split in two (edge tone).

      This is so good to hear. I must say that learning the differences between woodwinds and brass instruments has been challenging for me. Quite a learning experience, but so good to have teachers to help ! I'm honored. Thank you for watching my vids and thank you for your input. :-)
