Quarantine has left my stock pretty depleted and Amazon is no longer prioritising “non-essential” items, so it’s been pretty awks for me having to navigate how to cleanse my hair without using my clarifying shampoo every week because that is what I have the most of at the moment. Send help.
What are you guys using to wash your hair in this pandemic?

@Queen_D Dont blame science for that, blame people. All science does is provide results of an experiment given. In the rare exception that we have Laws for things, science doesn't provide a fixed, complete or "correct" answer from any given result. Science is not inherently Mathematics, where the only answer you're supposed to come up with is the correct one (exception: it's a Law, so it will have a math equation.)
How we interpret those results is a different story. People are the ones who skew scientific results, or even experiments, or just assert their profession on commoners, to fit their own personal agenda.
A good example of this, staying relevant to this channel, is a video Afope made talking about fixing protein overload, there was a study she referenced that using a certain sulfate caused protein loss. This was the solution to solving the protein overload problem, but you can easily picture how those in the natural hair community would see these results, and "cancel" sulfates entirely

You guysssss, A whole (almost) 24 hours later, this video is FINALLY back up and glitch free! When I tell you the devil tried it. Wow.
Felt like everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong - the best part was I had NO idea how to fix it 😩, so I’ve essentially been attending virtual film school for the past 18 hours.🙃
    1. I hate to miss an upload day, but it happens, so thank you for being patient with me.

I have very low porosity, protein sensitive hair and it’s already so difficult to put moisture into my hair, so I’m scared to use harsh sulfates because I don’t want to lose any moisture… but I do really need to remove product build up. I used shampoos with harsh ingredients on a regular until I discovered it was the cause of my scalp/hair issues (drying, itchy, burning and tender--every now and then flakes). I'm glad to know that I can use a mild cleanser (vegan, organic and or natural) to do the job in cleansing my hair/scalp. Also, I planned to detox once a month (ACV/bentonite clay).

I was looking for a shampoo that had no sulfates, minimally hydrating and that had the main function of clarifying and also removing mineral deposits. My hair suffers a lot from the hard water in my area. You think the Mielle Organics shampoo Rosemary Mint is a good choice? It has ingredients that strengthen the hair, edta and some mild surfacts.

I don't comment on anyone's RUclips too tough but GIRL this video made me laugh, I already hit that subscribe button due to the previous videos (Binge watching) now I've just pressed the Notification bell. I love the content, very informal but with a splash of humour! (And I'm a relaxed head)

TFS! My hair isn't really a fan of products that have ginger in them so no, I dont really like that camille shampoo, i find that some of the sulfate free shampoos can be more stripping than the ones that have sulfates, depending on the formulation. For environmental reasons i opt for sulfate free.

Great video! I learn so much from you, plus you have a beautiful personality! 🤗🤸🏾‍♀️💚
I'm not sure if you heard but there's a Class-action lawsuit filed against Tresemmé. Even though the claims are against their keratin products, I'm still cautious as I threw my Rich Moisture Shampoo out. Allegedly, the Keratin one causes hair loss.
Can you do a review on the Miche Shampoo? 💚💚💚

I had to pause the video just to comment about Camille Rose to say 🙋‍♀️ I'm one person who wouldn't use the Camille Shampoo Rinse mainly because it has Castor Oil. I don't like or want my products to make my hair thicker. If they take it out I'm all for trying it though lol. So pleaseee mention another one that is really good for the 1% population

is the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat shampoo enough as a clarifying shampoo? I really want something invigorating unless you have any suggestions for my curly 3a thick hair low porosity.

Hi Afope, I just discovered your channel and I'm LOVING the content!!! Could you please recommend a workable regimen I can follow? I recently cut my hair after wearing it as dreadlocks for 5year, I didnt thinking grew as much as it could have and wanted a fresh start.
I'm not naturally one who enjoys routine but I want to change that for my hair and my daughters.
    Thanks much!!

Hi Aralola - love your name by the way. I would love to help you out with a regimen. I actually offer this service to my clients. If you'd like more information on what this would entail, here's a breakdown: www.afopeatoyebi.com/haircare-regimen
I look forward to hearing from you :)

Can't you clarify/chelate with bentonite and kaolin clay if you prefer DIY?
