the “message” thing was a little Easter Egg on the TV that would happen if you played the game at 12AM (or at least they told me). it was telling the player to wake up, because all of this madness of you being a god and killing the people you spawn from the sky in various ways, was just a dream from a random person. And that random person is obviously YOU, the player. Nothing of this ever happened and possibly will never happen. Then the Easter egg got removed in future updates but the sound still remains in the files.
The Message one in a spectrogram makes it look like a night sky... EDIT: People say that it is what plays on the TV at exactly 12 o'clock midnight, so that makes even more sense.

I stayed up late one night playing PPG, home alone, 2 in the morning, some sounds started playing that I couldn’t find in the files or any other videos displaying sounds, when I took off the headphones, I realised how loud they were. As in the speakers in my headset started clipping and buzzing (it’s a very high quality headset) even with the sound turned down to about 5%. It sounded like a games intro on my old gameboy. I couldn’t quite recognise the tune but it sounded eerily familiar. The game had just crashed and I had turned it back on and I just loaded the default map (no mods) put a person down and it started playing if anyone want to try and recreate it.

Since Half Life 2 was a creepy, lonely game set in a distopian future, gmod also had the sound effects and the eerie ambience (look up gmod ARGs, that's basically something we've all felt like playing that game). I think the developers of this game just wanted to pass on that feeling to newer generations
i have a theory random noises sounds like child screaming or falling i think as you can remember there is a computer in game you can change text of the computer. computer casually spawns with saying hella world! but sometimes dont. one of the rare text is this ("excuse me" he said after pushing the child down the elevetor shaft.) and there is a hidden portal in the game you can make where the portal goes is a long dark hallway with alarms that hallway is pretty similar to the elevetor shaft if you turn it but idk :D

David_Apple comes from a glitch thing in old versions on blocks map, if you hit humans into it then theres a chance this sound plays Random_noise 1 might come from the child who got pushed in the elevator shaft, as the man who pushed him said "excuse me" (you can hear a metal bang in the background of the screaming) You also forgot 2 sounds From the vase (blocks map too i think) And radio from abyss Both those need to be hit with humans and you will hear SOUNDS SCARIER THAN RANDOM_NOISE 1 also if you delete these from the map the map becomes void Also the radio from abyss has a base64 code in letters in the radio description If you click RMB on the radio you might see a square you wanna press, after you press it, listen to the sound and put it in audacity because its a sound code Then it says "dont go too far" with humans below the phrase (i think thats what it says)

I heard random_noise 1 in the Uncharted Territory hallway just by sitting idle. next to the two radios. while I had my volume low enough where I can still hear the ambience. spookiest thing I have ever heard.
Dude I can picture the scene from random noise 1 in my head and it makes it so much worse. A test subject is just having all their guts forcefully pulled up through their mouth by the player. You can hear the subject kind of gagging in pain. Then finally the player just pulls them out, organs, intestines, everything and the subject just screams. (You can kind of hear the splattering at the end)

About “pink,” in people playground, the color pink is used for randomness, the pink syringe inflicts a myriad of different effects unique to each one So the audio name “pink” must have a connection to the abstract idea of random outputs from the same action, or, the opposite of insanity, which I guess makes sense for it to play randomly from smashing pumpkins, you do the same input(smashing the pumpkins) until you get a random yet new output(“pink”) Now “pink” is hollowed screaming, perhaps it is just meant to be the pumpkins as you can also sometimes see a small spirit fly from smashed pumpkins Who knows, maybe there’s some deep lore about how the people in charge of this “playground” put the souls of humans into the pumpkins

Steam is notorious for playing sounds, there's a hotkey to open a random sound on steam, for me it was enter sometimes

abyss_ambience seems calming to me, it sounds like something you would hear in a fantasy game

Dude I can picture the scene from random noise 1 in my head and it makes it so much worse.
A test subject is just having all their guts forcefully pulled up through their mouth by the player. You can hear the subject kind of gagging in pain. Then finally the player just pulls them out, organs, intestines, everything and the subject just screams. (You can kind of hear the splattering at the end)

Fun fact, little_prelude is a song I've kind of always heard, I know it as Machiavellian Bach (search it and you'll get a song from the game Portal 2) but that song is actually from another song (that I don't know) but you can get it by searching deeper into that song. About “pink,” in people playground, the color pink is used for randomness, the pink syringe inflicts a myriad of different effects unique to each one
So the audio name “pink” must have a connection to the abstract idea of random outputs from the same action, or, the opposite of insanity, which I guess makes sense for it to play randomly from smashing pumpkins, you do the same input(smashing the pumpkins) until you get a random yet new output(“pink”)
Now “pink” is hollowed screaming, perhaps it is just meant to be the pumpkins as you can also sometimes see a small spirit fly from smashed pumpkins
Who knows, maybe there’s some deep lore about how the people in charge of this “playground” put the souls of humans into the pumpkins

There is screaming and i think there is a place underground the map in PP Where all the humans are stored and revived, Then they all know they are all going to die painful deaths over and over again.. So they all scream for help. Idk if this is real i just thought about this.
