I own one of these. I have tried that limiter on one channel trick successfully. What would be really cool is if this trick could be done via an internal patch without physically patching one channel into the other. Great video!

Hi noob question as I’m just learning. So the vocals were recorded dry? and then how do you send it back out to Elop and back into pro tools? Kind of lost on that as I was under the impression you record the vocals with the compressor and then straight into the daw. Like I said still learning. Thanks
Hey Grant! You can track through the ELOP+, absolutely. But you can also use it creatively when mixing by inserting it on a track or mixbuss. MJ is doing this with summing. He comes out of his interface into a patch bay. Then out of the patch bay into the summing mixer(s). This way he can insert whatever outboard he chooses in between the interface and the summing mixer. Or insert it on the stereo output. For more intel and diagrams, DM us. Have a visceral 4th and don’t forget to wear hearing protection if you’re going to a fireworks display.
Why does my Core keep distorting and it ain’t a NICE distorsion or saturation like on say ... Tegeler or LA610 SE modded with resisters and changed tubes with other values or Avalon 737 we have??
