A CLASSIC video - I used to go to their matches when they came to my hometown of Charlotte, NC. They were awesome (and as one of their "teenyboppers", Robert was my FAVE!) Thx for the memories!!!
Heard in a shoot interview that they had so many girls chasing them, so many questionable 18-year-olds. They are lucky that the sex offender registry wasn't a thing then lol.
@shianname25 wait till you see the debuting in TASW of the real Steven Hardy i have his first ever pro match with his debuting music too. i was making my tryout myself but the comopany has too many talents and most of them have no shown events so i at a stand stil myself
I started watching Houston Wrestling back in 1983. These two will always be my favorite.
When we saw this video we were like, “Mid-South is bout to change!”
These guys were cool!

Awesome. I believe I watched this video when I was a kid. Classic. Hail RNR Express.
i like the rock n roll express very much i actually met them in person back in 1994 when i went on a road trip awhile back
I used to love the way they would throw the double double dropkick
Rock ‘n’ Roll is here to stay, not to play
Like that solid gold rock n roll baby!!
They are now going into the wwe hall of fame.
I was madly in love with Ricky Morton back in the day. He’s still hot!!!
i totally remember this video...OMG!
Ricky and Robert. Off on another adventure in their Rock N' Roll Expressmobile.
2:20 Cool ring entrance by Gibson 👍👌💪
Now Vince should put these guys in the WWE Hal of Fame
Most def! These guys were on fire! 🔥🔥🔥
He did
That's pretty cool. I like the Rock N Roll Express in its rawest form before they went to the NWA, where it was all about Ricky and not the team.
They should be on the Wrestling greatest Tag Team list with their long time nemisis the Midnight Express with manger Jim Cornette
Gotcha - but this was produced in Memphis in 5/83 and was shown on Memphis TV. Mid-South TV showed it when they were coming in.
Yeah I was about to say this was Memphis and not Mid South. I could see ref Jerry Calhoun at various points there.
Calhoun appeared in almost every promo vid made in Memphis. Then again, he was the lead ref, and a great ref at that.
80s and 90s rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ricky n robert gods of tag team wrestling hold on to a belt lod
This was from Memphis, not Mid-South.
Mid South also used this video in early January 1984. It was probably used in multiple territories as they moved around.
when joan jett took off and get real big
when joan jett big and eveybody buy all her stuff
Robert Gibson looks like Elvis or Rocky. Morton is from the 80's but it feels like the 50's because he was from a different time.
is there a place where i can get or download the classic wrestling themes such as this one?
