This band was started in 1987 when the guitarist and bassist were in college. They've persevered for so long, I'm so glad they're getting the attention they deserve. They never gave up.
I can only assume the bassist died at some point and the guitarist had to strike a deal with an Oni in order to resurrect his dear comrade. But at what cost?

The colour out of space is a short story by H.P. Lovecraft. A great story. This is a great rendition in homage to that story and the perfect band to do it. I love these guys. “It was just a colour out of space-a frightful messenger from unformed realms of infinity beyond all Nature as we know it; from realms whose mere existence stuns the brain and numbs us with the black extra-cosmic gulfs it throws open before our frenzied eyes.”
@@TheRealJanKafka Seriously, most people just latch on to the pop culture adaptations without regard for the fact that Lovecraft was actually a pretty bad writer. The reimaginings in games and movies are infinitely better than the original short stories. Lovecraft was really bad at painting mental images for me, and came across as generally very bland. I'm glad at least one other person on the planet agrees with me. All that aside, the music's fantastic.

These guys literally play some of the best music I've ever heard. I'm a guitarist with 20 years of experience, front man of a rock band, and honestly just a fucking major fan of music and wow. These dudes are now a new source of inspiration for me.

I found one track back in '10 that didn't have the English and then one night You Tube had them way down on my suggested and got lucky. These guy are like a metal story made real - school friends and start a band, go off to different colleges and come back to start a new band and they've only had 2 drummers that whole time. Love these guys

It's on YT somewhere...She came out in perfect 'spinster librarian' garb and attitude, everyone had the "aw, how sweet, let's tolerate the granny" look on their faces--until she whipped off the camouflage and was in full-on metal garb (and 'tude), and proceeded to rock the ever-livin' f*ck out of an AC/DC cover! 俺も当時イカ天で見て勝手にイロモノと決めつけてちゃんと聴かなかった。
最近になってなぜかオススメに出てきたイカ天の時の映像を見たらめちゃくちゃカッコよくてさ。

Or more kindly, there is so much music in the world that no one can be expected to know all of it, let alone Random Artist of the Day. And I know the pressure of being atop of it all, at all times, but it's just not realistic. This is your genre but also, the whole wide WORLD is out there!
I found one track back in '10 that didn't have the English and then one night You Tube had them way down on my suggested and got lucky. These guy are like a metal story made real - school friends and start a band, go off to different colleges and come back to start a new band and they've only had 2 drummers that whole time.

Did you ever see the Heavy Metal Grandma that performed on--I *think* it was American Idol (but could've been the Brit one, Simon Colwell was one of the judges)? It's on YT somewhere...She came out in perfect 'spinster librarian' garb and attitude, everyone had the "aw, how sweet, let's tolerate the granny" look on their faces--until she whipped off the camouflage and was in full-on metal garb (and 'tude), and proceeded to rock the ever-livin' f*ck out of an AC/DC cover! I want to be her when I grow up...

簡単にいうとユーチューブのアルゴリズムでいろんな人のおすすめ欄に突然出てきて、海外の人のコメント曰くメタルを弾く濃いキャラの日本のおじさんが非常にカッコいいって。まぁそのようだが、ファンとして嬉しいですね
