This is genuinely one of the best (if not *the* best) Deadlock guide videos out there - and I’ve watched a sh*tton of ‘em. Please please please continue posting more! It’s the perfect amount of detail (neither overwhelming nor superficial), paced well, and very digestible. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What I’m impressed with is the information. The video is packed with details, tricks and tactics to improve your game play. You’re going to want to read the transcript to this one so you can take advantage of all the info provided. Look forward to more videos
healbane is a good sustain and anti sustain pickup on her too, I just think she makes the most out of the heal it gives when enemies die. in a teamfight thats a potential 2100 heal as you keep mowing through them.
Very cool vid, but woldve loved if you explained ability upgrade order. I always rush bomb, then put 1 point in every ability then silence. But ive benn thinking about maxing malice secons since its so strong
@@gumsword3596 That's actually a change I did with the Infernus guide and will be doing moving forward sorry about that! So personally I have been going bomb first skill into Malice with the first point going into malice since every 3 seconds stacking a damage amp adds up hard if you can sustain yourself. Maxing Bomb, Malice, then Siphon for me
Such a good build. Although after a few games with it, it's def too expensive. Cutting IC and SoP helped a lot. Fleetfoot and Echo Shard are absolute game changers for me tho
Good video, but another thing to note about geist is that her abilities that inflict self harm are spirit dmg, thus getting items that assist against spirit dmg also help with her self damage, making her ability cost much lower while still keeping its boons.
I mained Geist even when people called her F tier and now I become very smug when people finaly realize how strong she is. It wasnt long ago when even the Geist main channel in the Deadlock discord called her weak
If no one on your team has it, buying Alchemical Fire is so worth it, it's basically a cheaper second bomb that also increases the weapon damage the enemy recives
Don't put mystical reverb on malice, it deals 40% of the ability's damage and you lose quite a bit of damage by putting it on malice and the puddle from the bombs will constantly trigger the slowdown effect after the explosion, basic example - you can put mystical reverb on the ult and there will be an instant oneshot, yes it is not profitable but as an example The video is good
Ehhh I have tested both even the meme ult build the main reason for reverb isn't the damage it's the insane slow stack that allows you to then stack malice on any enemy mostly to death. Adding up to reverb stacking with damage amp anyways it leds to reverb hitting for 1k sometimes
Nice guide and build, i was already a geist main but was looking for better way to play her, do you think that is a good choice to take the leech iteam? (the 6200 souls one). I was playing with it as early i could, so i could have a good sustain for the entierity of the game.
So I recommend getting leech later during mid game will be a good time to have low hp anyways to get some game changing swaps then when you get your damage up invest in some lifesteal to keep your sustain up with all this new damage
Great video, well explained. If i could just say one thing, I do not like music playing in the background, I don't think it is necessary really. Otherwise, good job
@@keitaowlI think having it silent with just your voice is totally ok! Your voice has a nice cadence to it and because this video is informative, eliminating any potential distraction from what you’re saying is a good thing 😊

Wow this is actually such a nice comment for me to read at work. I for sure am finishing my next guide when I get home :)

You flatter me too much!!!!!!
Wow I can’t tell you worked hard on this video. So much detail.
Thank you so much these comments help me feel better :)
I didn't know until this vid that Geist can heal her teammates with Life Drain wtf??? Thank you!
It has saved my teammates so many times!
Last tip best tip 😊
Never give up :)

I did run it for a little especially with the swap combo usually being a kill. I should fit it back into the build for Abrams, shiv, and Infernus!
If you have any advice on what I could improve on for these type of videos let me know :)

I really like this comment because I have been debating switching out both of those items to let the build flow into itself easier! Will test more :)
Such a nice guide, thanks a lot!
Thank you so much :) I plan to make more guides in the same style for every character!

Really good reminder I wish I put this in!
@@keitaowl it's cool, you really notice it when you pick up spirit armor and are like "damn i'm doing like no self damage"
Lol I came here to see how to counter geist and now I wanna play her
This is a sign to start throwing Essence Bombs

You knew it all a long brother

I did have a fun build that focused more on just bomb with that!
Forgot to mention the player needs to be visible for the 2 silence to work.
You're right I only mentioned LOS in the kit portion! I'll double check for the next video!
Does it take two seconds?

@@keitaowl tried your build just rn, did 50K dmg, 7/3/19. Your build is really great, and your recommendation was also right, thx for that
Just imagine when you start to play even more you're going to be scary!
Ill give your build a try, nice video though
Thank you so much hopefully you dominate :)
Do malice stacks only amplify damage or does the slow also stack?
They stack which makes Malice so strong!

So I have the music there just so it isn't silent with my voice, any idea what I could try instead?

So you want to be Bricky?
We do love bricks here
Sell fleet foot lool
How are u going to cancel melee ?
I don't think Geist really needs HMC but you can keep both! Warpstone is just so good on Geist :)
@keitaowl both for sure and extra stamina on top
