"Thing is a thingy" .. Lol 😂 Got 9 more years until I can retire .. Can't wait to hit the road full-time .. Thanks for sharing .. God bless and happy trails !!
Hi Rob, greetings from Australia. You sound like me. I just got myself a teardrop with zero experience……….and I love metal detecting, and get excited with fossil funds. Enjoy and thanks for sharing you video. James.
Hey James! This camper has been one of the neatest things! I can't even imagine all the awesome finds you must come across. Thank you so much for checking out the video and commenting. Always nice to find other oddballs like myself!
Ya know Rob, that was a really great video. If you ever get out Seattle way. Give me a shout. Hell bring Kevin because I’ll need someone to teach me about backing up as well. Again, great video. Thank you for producing it.
I'm hoping to get out to the Seattle area later in 2024 actually! I was out there (not with my camper) last year and had a blast. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I bought my first trailer, a T@B 320s a couple years ago, and I love it. I made some mistakes along the way, but it has been a great experience and helped build my confidence. I hope you have many great adventures!
Hi Rob - Greetings from NY! I loved your video. As someone who has NEVER towed anything before, the TAB 320 CS S really appeals to me in its simplicity. I wish you many great adventures. Be safe and enjoy!
Thanks for the walk through. We have a little TAG XL Boondock (love it) but will be looking for an upgrade next Spring, the 320 CS-S looks perfect (inside bathroom). I'm glad your happy, but keep us in mind if anything changes. Cheers!
I have no complaints about the 320 CS-S. I wish it was a little higher ceilings inside, but it’s not a big deal. Especially since when I’m in the camper I can sit. But I’m so happy with it all around.
I have a 2017 320S. After seeing all the inside storage you have, I wish I would have purchased the clam shell version like yours. I thought I might need that indoor kitchen. No. I always cook outdoors. Coffee machine and crockpot are the only indoor uses on rainy days. You could do those two things with your model too. I still love my camper.
I was hoping you would lay down on one side of the twin bed to show the length and width and also sit on the toilet to show the knee room and elbow room. Thinking of getting one of these for my wife and i.😀
About that answer to the other one: I’m 6’1” and 275 lbs. I didn’t use the bed as twins but kept it set up as a queen. I was very comfortable like that. There are videos that show how you can add an extension to the twin closest to the door. I would be quite comfortable with that. As for the bathroom, standing to urinate is very uncomfortable. So I sit to do everything and have no problems. If you end up getting a 320 I hope you love it!
Hey Rob, Greetings from South Carolina! Great video and thanks for sharing your first experience. How's the trailer track behind your Jeep, much swaying? The 320 is high on my list as I want something small that will easily fit in my garage. Thanks for sharing the exterior height of the Boondock version. I knew it was a little taller but was surprised to learn it was 8' 1". I couldn't find that measurement listed on the specs. Have you taken your new rig on any longer trips out west like you mentioned in this video? Any information you can provide is appreciated, and stay safe out there.
Hello! No swaying that I’ve noticed except for when it’s REALLY windy. Haven’t been out west yet. I really want to! Per the NuCamp RV website it says the overall height is 92 inches and adds 5 inches when it’s a Boondock (97 inches).
Hi Rob, Nice video. I like this camper very much. Our garage height is 7’11”, I wonder this camper can be stored at our garage or not. What is total exterior height for your T@B cs s boondocks ? Thanks.
Thank you for checking out the video! So, the camper itself is 8’1” height, 6’7” wide, and 15’3” long. If it isn’t the Boondock version, then it’s 7’8” height. The Boondock version is just a little too tall for your garage it seems.
I’m going to be a first time camper owner as well and I’m scared of what I might be getting myself into. 🤞 I’m retired now so my husband and I want to start living now. 😂 I’m hoping this is working out for you. How is the wet bath working out? As for the sleeping situation, do you find it difficult with converting? Do you use it as a sitting area as well or do you leave it as a bed?
So far it’s been great. It gets a little tiring if I set up and breakdown camp every couple days, since I’m solo. The wet bath is fine. Drys quickly. And if it isn’t dry by the time I need it to be, a quick towel wipe down does the trick. Generally I just leave the bed set. Since I’m really only using the inside of the camper for sleeping, dressing, and storage I don’t bother with the conversion. It’s not hard to switch back to seating. Maybe takes 5 minutes. If it wasn’t just me in the camper I would likely convert it to a sitting area in the morning.
Not really. A little cramped I guess when I'm standing up right. But I'm generally sitting or laying while I'm in the camper. I do most of my standing outside of it!
Hi Rob, One more question. Is there a felling fan cover ? If yes, what is the outside ceiling cover height roughly? My garage only missed 2” height space. I think about modifying my garage height, and remove the fan cover because we do like boondock version very much.
There is an exhaust fan that can pull and blow air. The exterior cover on it sticks up about three inches. However, it does have a weather seal on it so removing it may be a risk. However, it it just about 3 inches off the top of the camper!
I’m sure there are garages it can get into. Mine it’s a tight squeeze. But it can absolutely fit into many garages. It’s 7ft 8inches tall and 6ft 8inches wide.
@@jtepsr for this size camper, absolutely love it outside. Gives more usable space inside and keeps the food smells from seeping into everything! Plus, it’s nice to be outside while cooking.
Hi Rob, loved your video! My wife and I have a 21 Tab 320s Bd and love it. We found the learning curve steep but manageable...a great resource is the Tab forum online where there is a wealth of information. Enjoy your Tab and happy safe trails! Here is a video of our first trip. Cheers! ruclips.net/video/tFMbAGnxOeo/видео.html
Thank you Brent! Believe it or not, I actually watched your video before ordering my TAB! I had no idea about any forums, but that may be something I'll have to look into. Thanks for the heads up!
As you can see, this is a very small camper. First off, the kitchen being outside frees up space on the inside. Second, so that the very small sleeping/living area won’t smell like greasy food for weeks. 😂
Hm...there's no more space in that thing than there is in a camper van, so why not just get the camper van? Then you're not trying to drag a trailer around...and you can park.
There’s a few reasons I decided to go with a tow trailer instead of a full camping van. Often times I like to be able to travel around where I’m camped. Usually outside of walking distance, so I still want to drive. Having to do all the hook ups and then taking it all down just to go on a drive is a pain. Plus, if I’m in a rush to go someplace I can do that easier with a detachable camper. There are a few other reasons, but a major one is that a camper van is usually 3x more expensive than a tow camper.
Love how he said Turlet,
The turlet is an important feature in any bathroom!

I’ve been busier than ever since I retired. Honestly, it’s been a wonderful experience.
not odd at all. i like all those things too.
Oddlyness is next to goodlyness!
I love the outdoor kitchen, if your camping you want to be outside! The only reason to go inside is to sleep, looks like so much fun. Enjoy ❤❤🇨🇦🇺🇸🐻🐟🐞
It’s a GREAT feature!

It’s really been pretty easy to get set up and tow around!! It’s a wonderful camper.
We pick up our 320 CS-S from Dan Kearny on Saturday. Thanks for the walk-through!

Excellent! It’s a really great camper. I hope you love it as much as I do, if not more!!
Hey I know that Kevin guy! Cool little trailer.

Great video. Just subscribed to your channel. I’ll be getting my first trailer as well. 2022 Tab 320CS-S. Safe travels!
Awesome!! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it. I hope you love your camper. It’s been a really great time for me!
@@ImOddRob I get mine in a couple of months. It’s on order now!
This brand of camper is the one I’ve been looking at and considering purchasing just looking at 320 with a inside kitchen.
Even though mine has the kitchen outside, I absolutely love it. I hope you find something you love.
