GHERKIN WEDDING FILM
Philip and Jonathan's wedding held at the Gherkin on 21.10.17.
Jonathan and Philip were catapulted into the limelight in 2016 after an onlooker at London's pride parade uploaded Philip's heartwarming proposal video to RUclips.
Over half a million hits later, the couple hosted their wedding at London's landmark tower, 'The Gherkin' surrounded by family and friends.
After a civil ceremony and blessing performed by Phil's father, Jonathan surprised his new husband with a gospel choir who performed songs from his favourite musical 'Sister Act'.
Later in the evening Phil's former school friend, Joss Stone arrived to serenade the happy couple for the first dance.
News of the wedding spread quick and the week after, clips from their Gherkin wedding film were broadcast on television in New Zealand where Jonathan is from.

It’s unbelievable how these two guys express their love to one another.
It’s really wonderful to see such a joy, in such a lovely country, city, venue and in their hearts. Very well done, I bet, not a single person, who had the pleasure to be there on that day will ever forget that. So I wish these two gentlemen all the luck, humour and love for their life together!
