    Love your vids on Charlotte projects and on the growth of the Queen City. I live in Durham but have always loved Charlotte even as a kid. Incredible to watch the transformation of this "Queen". You grow, girl!

    How good is Southend as a fit for older retired people looking for a quiet location with easy access to amenities, including condos and rental apartments? And how good is the infrastructure with the growing population? Roads, electricity, traffic, noise, sewer system, water snd gas lines?

    Hello Ryan! Very comprehensive and interesting video, do you also happen to know what companies are involved in building these projects? (Engineering firms, contractors aso) Thanks once again, take care!

      Hi Joel,
      Unfortunately I don’t have any other info other than the primary developer right now. I need to do an update bc there have been a few changes to these developments.

    As a NYer that lived in Atlanta and Raleigh I've been dissapointed in some of the ammenities in Charlotte but if done right this is promising. I plan on taking the year to discover the city...glad you mentioned the medical college.

      I get that for sure but the rate at which Charlotte is growing it really seems to be adding new amenities daily. Enjoy your exploration! Charlotte does actually have a lot if you look for it.

      Raleigh is horrible compared to Charlotte

      Ammenities? Raleigh has more? not so sure about that. Atl obviously is bigger and has more. I've lived in Marietta but I'm ok with Charlotte compared with Atlanta. To each his own I guess.

    Been looking to move to NC, but everywhere I look it says how much better than Raleigh region is for families. Where do families move in Charlotte where you still get value and find good schools?

      Hi, it really depends on what you are looking to spend and what is most important to you. There are good options at many price ranges. If you have any specific questions feel free to text or call me.

      Raleigh is much better. Everyone I hear who moves to Charlotte regrets it unless your 20 and single.

    Before more apartments are added we have got to have more schools. Our schools are already bursting at the seams with a terrible teacher to student ratio. When will we consider our childrens' futures?

    • @RyanMcGrann
      @RyanMcGrann  2 года назад

      Yea currently Charlotte is about 40,000 apartments short to me demand of meeting demand. We will have to build apartments and schools at the same time.

    • @RyanMcGrann
      @RyanMcGrann  Год назад

      As far as I have heard it will only be apartments. Developers are rarely building condos. More money in apartments 😔

    When business are bought out to replace with a new development the developer should offer a space for a businesses to rent. For example the building where prices chicken coop is should allocate the street level of the building to rent to businesses so if the owners or the business that was bought out can choose to remain open in the newly built building.

    • @RyanMcGrann
      @RyanMcGrann  2 года назад +3

      Some developers are doing that but often times the rents are too high in the new development for old tenants to come back. The Price family did retire so they never intended to continue their business after the sale.
