They should definitely encase boost more. It's not as popular as it used to be, so seeing boost isn't really a marketing advantage anymore. I hate seeing boost yellow and get scuffed, if they can encase them without compromising the comfort then that's a win win.
It seems to add some stability too.
I'm waiting to see what other colorways they come up with, but glad you got to review them. I have the v1 2k Boosts, so it's good to hear you think these are even more comfortable. I like this overall shape and silhouette of the 5k.

Adidas has been making great sneakers lately.
i just got mine today. they are pretty comfortable when you put them on. then i went for a walk and carried groceries back home a mile. They don't even need breaking in.
V1 was more comfortable than v2 but will rip so easy, felt robbed honestly. V2 also ripped almost immediately where the toe cap ends for me. Looks like they are making them better every time tho. Can’t wait to see how these will be for me in the future
Agreed with you. I have ZX 2k Boost the one with rainbow coloured on the outsole. The TOE CAP is Fragile, it RIPPED easily. Im planning to get ZX 5K Boost but I'm wondering will the toe cap get ripped easily too???
I bought the greens (Semi Screaming Green / Screaming Green / Core Black)! Comfortable, true to size and perfect for those with wide feet. I love them!

I own the 5k Screaming Green, they're very comfortable on feet BUT after walking for a couple of hours my whole sole hurts and feels like walking through mud. Wouldn't recommend!
Just got a pair at Marshalls on clearance for $25!!! Size 9 blue, green & red. I hate to even lace them up for that price 🤔🤣

Brought the green and the pink and I love them. Since I'm a female I ordered a size down on both pairs. Very wide foot friendly. Very comfortable. Its exactly why I love boost. Have 3 pairs of the zx 2k boost, love that shoe, but these are much more comfortable than. Wish they came out with more colorways. Definitely a slept on sneaker. Adidas shouldve have promoted better.
Just tried a pair and I gotta say, I was let down. The midsole is as comfy (if not less comfy) than the 2K, but the upper is what really disappointed me. The upper materials feel cheap and they’re not comfy at all. Maybe they are once you break it in, but I won’t know because I’m sending these back. I’m sad cuz I love both my pairs of 2K boost!
I recommended this model a few vids back, glad you got to try them out.

i like the 5k look, they look more substantial...they should take that silhouette and use leathers and suedes to give them a really nice retro runner vibe

The zx 2k boost are super comfy, copper my pair for like $70. These look even more plush honestly and the tongue looks better

Hi! Overall, do you prefer the ZX 5K boost or Ozweego?
I just bought the ozweego flipshield edition with Adiprene+ tech at front and Adiprene at the rear after wearing and comparing it with the ZX 5 boost ..Ozweego was damn comfortable with that chunky looks too brother...ZX 5 boost doesn't have that premium boost feel as in top end models ,but was bit rigid in cushioning too...If you are fan of boost opt for Zx orelse ozweego flipshield edition is magnificient with weightless feel too in comparison 😊♥️
Please do more thorough reviews comparing to previous and similar adidas models. This one was too short. Tnx
I saw one yesterday which is the triple black goretex version and I gotta say it looks good in my opinion.. I wish they would release a version with some leather uppers soon..

Hes check out the Retropy E5. Especially now they got dope colorways. I love my pair, it's based off the Adidas Racing 1 but with Boost. To you, it'll look like a upgraded Iniki.

Thank you for reviewing this shoe! I really thought this won't be comfier than ZX 2K Boost but I guess I am wrong.
The z2k was so squishy that it was hurting my lower back... I thought they were sick but had to return.
The thick soles must be the most comfortable Adidas I've worn.
When i tried on the 2K in a store, i noticed that the boost under the heel was so soft that my heel 'dropped' below the front of my foot, it felt so off walking in them i didnt take them. I really liked the way they looked though, but i cant imagine these shoes being very supportive for your feet if they're anything like the 2K. Lets hope they changed the sturdiness of the heel!
Edit: i did end up buying a pair of NMD's which felt way more comfortable to me than any other shoe i tried on in-store.

I have Adidas ZX 2K Boost is so soft, looks like I'm walking on the bed. I'm very happy with them. But they snapped on the inside where my toe is and where the spot is above the heel. And I want to buy the 5K Boost model.

Ultra boost Bruh...This is like a miniature to ultraboost with massive mid sole
How's the comfort compared to the ultrabolst or the old school pureboost?
They're even more comfy and squishy compared to those.. These ZX 2K's or 5K's make the ultraboost and pureboost old comfort wise..
Think of these as the new 93/17 in terms of squishiness.

Yo man. I dig your videos. Just as an idea, it would be cool if you made a video about fashionable/cool/comfy shoes for people with wider feet. I love adidas, but in my experience the only adidas that fit my feet are shell tops. I wear vans almost exclusively(for more info than necessary, size 13s are about a quarter inch too long but the width is perfect.) I live in a small town, so I generally pick up shoes online. I’d love to get some yeezys at some point, for example, but I hesitate to buy them without trying them on. Just an idea lol. (I liked the tie dye vid too, I’ve been tie dying a lot the last couple years.)

TRASH. Heavy and wrecks feet by wearing it. So bad, after 2 days of walking with them, they scratched my foot until blood came out. No bs. Adidas should have a quality control check before releasing shoes.
Boost are getting ugly , the 2.0 is best
