I didn't say that it's not better because ot has Japanese in it. It's just weird because it's a mess. If I close my eyes, I hear some English as Japanese and I hear some Japanese as English. The combination of those two languages sounds weird for me. In the other openings, it's okay.
I prefer this version because it's more clear.

I don't have a problem about transition. Just the pronunciation and how it was sang.
There are many better song with English and Japanese.
But I'm not saying that Mindaryn isn't good. It's just that I prefer the English version more because she sang it more clearly.

Season 3 coeur 2's opening theme was pretty good as it matches the coeur's tone, and I'm sure that when they get to the more actiony arcs they'll pick another banger (maybe even have MindaRyn do it again), but I don't anticipate the benchmark set by Like Flames to be challenged until then.

Just got to finish Season 2 of the anime, and as soon as I first heard this, I knew I was going to love it. Love the vocals and that there is an English and mixed version of this song. Amazing work and I'm glad I get to hear it while watching.
