Of all the tier 1 special force legends I've listener too that have 10,15,20 years of the most elite combat missions and seen all ther see multiple times Billy to me seems like he just gets it, when to let go, how to move forward in his career, and seems like he came out happy and satisfied and still fresh and just mentally healthy.
An old friend of mine won some SERIOUS money on the UK Lottery some years back. He then arranged a 'do' for the people he knew/had known and as I recall, it was a great night! I can still remember the guy who was in charge of security that night. He was what you would call nondescript; not particularly noticeable - in fact, quite the opposite. However, I can still recall how much he was 'in control' of what he and his team were doing...
1-30 and 7-05: A friend of mine, who was a traffic cop, said to me once - when I joked with him about leaping our of patrol cars and chasing the bad guys - "Nah, at my age, I let the youngsters do all that sh*t! I'm too old to catch the f*ckers anyway!" As Clint Eastwood once said in one of his Dirty Harry movies "A man's got to know his limitations!" LOL
