Looks nice I have been riding mountain bikes for like 3 years now I have 2 bikes a xo and a enduro bike both are tubeless it helps so much when your tire plugs it own holes
I was hoping to see how to put it on the wheel but you skipped that part. I cant seem to get it over the edge of the rim. If I do it comes off on the other end 😑
Anyone having this problem too. I found the solution! The key is to align the edge lf the tyre in the center of the rim because it has a dip in the middle.
Great video, so how do you find them so far? I looking to upgrade the tyres on my Trek hardtail, currently running 27,5x2.8 which was the original setup from factory but I find them just a bit too wide for my trail rides. Thinking about the same set of maxxis like you did but I’ll go for 2.4 or maybe 2.5 max. Just looking for some opinions before I spend the money. Cheers
i have a giant stance 2 2021 but i only want to change the rear one because theres a hole in mine my rear one uses ardent race and 2.75x2.60 do you think a minion dhr would fit on it
@@JohnOBryan thank you for getting back letting me know yeah iv only just got back into in from been a kid I have a cheap £500 carrea but been looking at full suspension spec must say yours looks lovely
Truly dreadful quality tyres, in just 1 year I've had 3 maxxis tyres all fail at the bead, thats £180 in tyres all with the same quality fault, last one was only 8 weeks old and left me stranded 15miles from home, I'll never buy another Maxxis product

Extremely happy with them. Now I see why so many people use them. In addition to grip for days.. they look good too. I highly recommend them.
John O'Bryan cool stuff, thanks a lot.
Hi John, after 2 years, how are the Minions on Giant CR70 wheels?
Holding up excellent! Definitely a great investment.
Did tires deformed or damaged as rims are 19mm? Thanks @@JohnOBryan
@@gabitodnb322 Not yet. Lol
I put this combo on my talon 3 and I love it
Do you think I should put a minion dhf on my talon 2 and a aggressor on the back?
@@sxlarx8385 I don’t have much experience with the aggressor, but I’ve heard good things about it, and I love the minion DHF
@@brickbros211 you ride dhf on rear or front?
@@sxlarx8385 front
@@brickbros211 that’s the way
is it still ok if we ride on the road or any park sometime?
Sure!
im waiting for my tires
I bought the same pair of tires. How do you know which way to face the tires? I don't see a rotation arrow.
The side that has the word minion dhr or dhf has to be the drivetrain side the side with the chain
Do the tires come with a tube? Or do you have to use your old one?
Use your old ones or run tubeless
I bought a used bike and it has tubeless tires. But i just totaled the back tire. Thats why i was wondering. Im trying to use tires with tubes now

Not sure.
what is your frame size?
Medium
Is it possible to mount DHF on both wheels ?
Sure!
What modle of giant is that buddy
2015 Giant Stance 2. It's been a very solid bike so with no issues.

You can get away with 2.5 easy or even 2.6 if you like.
Dhr 2.6 wt ?
@@Wroe yeah Mate, Maxxis doesn't bulged that much and the difference is very minimal.
I cannot see in the video any Installing !
Is it tubeless?
The tires are tubeless however I haven't converted over to tubeless yet.
Nice
F is Freeride ... R is Race
A thought its "front" or "rear"

That's very unfortunate. Mine are still holding up really well so far.
maybe you can try Vittoria Graphene 2.0 tyres ? Not too sure bout their knobby tyres though. Im using their barzo and it feels great for XC
is ok if i put the DHR II on back and in front?
Sure
Nice
